    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

We disabled the contact.php file modification in the child theme because it contains the old options without the security settings or spam protection toggles. You can now activate the spam protection by editing the contact form’s Content > Security settings. (see private field)

    Best regards,
    Ismael

This wont affect anything else in my configation/site or disappear when theme is updated?

the test cf is the one doing the work and how can i do the same thing on zorbas.se?

I can send you the login maybe for zorbas.se and you can do the same there?

    Hi,

    Thank you for following up.

Did you add anything significant in the modified contact.php file? We disabled it temporarily because it’s outdated. Again, if you want to enable the spam protection, make sure that the API keys are valid and that the Content > Security option is enabled.

The API keys in the zorbas site are missing.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

As I remember I didn´t do anything, but again it´s possible that I or some of your colleagues did something in contact.php.
It should update if it´s oudated? can you advise here want to do?

I will have a look at the keys and and put them in the settings (update, I have added api keys, can you help with the rest?)

Thanks alot in advance Ismael :)

    Hi,

Yes, you have to get a new copy of the contact.php file from the parent theme and add the modifications again manually. We created a test page with the contact form and enabled the spam protection from the Content > Security toggle. (see private field)

    Thank you for your patience.

    Best regards,

    Hi Ismael,

When i take a look it doesnt look like i have a contact.php in my childtheme (for zorbas.se)
So do i still need to take the contact.php from the parent theme (enfold) and then copy it to for instance: /public_html/zorbas.se/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/shortcodes/contact.php ?

About zorbas.dk, i took the original contact.php from parent theme and I overwrite the contact.php in /public_html/zorbas.dk/wp-content/themes/enfold-child/shortcodes/contact.php.

I checked for custom things but couldn´t see any. can you see what the custom code is? added in private area.

    Hey!

    Thank you for the update.

You can use the following tool to check for differences between the original or parent file and the one with the modification.

    // https://www.diffchecker.com/diff

Unfortunately, we can’t help you trace back modifications added by a different person or team.

If you want to properly override the shortcode file in the child theme, please check the documentation for more info.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
