I know I’m not the first person with this issue ,but I can’t seem to find a solution in the other threads.

I created a Google API for Maps use. First without restrictions It didn’t work, get the “can’t connect” message in theme options.
I tried every restriction option and added url in Google Cloud Platform, but I’ll keep getting the same error.

    Billing is enabled.

I hope you can help me with this. I can’t figure out why it’s not working.

    Kind regards,
    Emile

    Hi Emile,

Thanks for the login details. First off, could you try updating WordPress to the latest version, to see if the helps please?

    Hi,

Please try the suggestions listed in the troubleshooting section in the documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/google-map/#could-not-connect-to-google-maps-with-this-api-key

Yes, I’ve done all that. And waited and cache refresh with every step. The Key will not connect.
Is there some way to see the error?

    Hi,

Did you try to remove the restriction for the key? It looks like you have the restriction in private.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

Great, I’m glad to hear that it’s working as it should. If you need to add a restriction again, then please refer to the Google Maps API documentation on how to properly implement it.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
