    Hi.

    We’ve been using Enfold on http://www.whisperandfog.co.uk for almost 12 months, however over the past few days we’ve notice the home gallery isn’t loading smoothly when viewing on Chrome. I’ve tested it on several machines to rule out it being a local problem. It happens on all of them. The issue doesn’t appear to happen when viewing in Edge though.

    Is this an issue you’ve encountered previously?

    FYI The right click has been disabled on the site at my clients request in case you wonder why you can’t right click for the context menu.

    Hey KevinLloydJones,

    There too many images and the images are big and high-res, they need to be optimized and thumbs should be used instead.
    I’ve tested in other browsers, the page seems to behave differently because the browser waits for the images to upload and does not render gallery right away when it has a number of images to show, it renders gallery and so the animation is smoother. Chrome does not do that it renders gallery right away, images are big and there many of them and so the animation is not smooth.

    That makes sense. Is there a way of using a thumbnail and then loading the full size image when clicked?
