    Hello team!

Thank you for the amazing theme and support! Quick question. Is there a way to remove or dramatically reduce the initial “fade-in” effect of the fullscreen slider?

Due to it’s initial fade, pagespeed insight reduces the ranking due to “late initial useful paint” or something like that.

    Thank you in advance!

    Best regards

    Hey wtechgr,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hello Basili,

Please find the login details at the Private content section.

Just to clarify, the issue is about making the fullscreen slider, together with its text and buttons, to appear faster at the initial load of the homepage, so users can click on the buttons the soonest possible, so that google pagespeed insights give a better score!

Thank you in advance for your time!

    Best regards,
    Victor

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

Have you tried installing a cache plugin, or did you optimize the site yet? Optimizing the site should decrease the delay for the initial useful paint or rendering. It’s not necessarily connected to the fade in effect. This article about site speed optimization should help.

    Hello there Ismael,

Thank you for your reply. The website is optimized and we are using caching plugins, as well as image optimization / compression tools. We are scoring great as it is, although, we’d like to give it a try to reduce the fade in effect at the initial load (or even in general too) for the fullscreen slider.

Is there a way to reduce the fade in time for it? I have read a post in this forum at some point, although it is giving instuctions to edit a .js file, which no longer has that many lines of code and I can’t locate the line containing the information about the fade speed.

Thank you in advance for your reply!
