The Full Width Easy slider is displaying content correctly on desktop but when viewing the website on Mobile device the slider content is being cropped so that you cannot see the full width of the slider content. We tried using some Quick CSS to adjust the dimensions for mobile but the content is still being clipped on either side. We would like the mobile experience to look same as desktop can you please advise?
January 5, 2021 at 5:31 am #1270307Hey jgreenstein,
Thanks for the login details. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.6.4) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,

We can help you out with that, if you share FTP login details with us in private. Also make sure that you have backups of the site, in case something should go wrong.

Thanks for that. I’ve uploaded the new version of the theme, but it looks like the Layout Builder is breaking when it’s active, and the same thing is happening when I switch back to the old version. Was it working before? I’ve left the old version active for now.
I see that you are running a very old PHP version on the server, could you update that to 7.2 or higher please? After that then we can try to activate the new version again.
Regards,

Thanks for the update. I activated the new version, but the Layout Builder is still not loading unfortunately. There are error messages coming from the file in private, could you try disabling the ecwid shopping cart to see if that makes any difference please?
Best regards,

Thanks for the update. I see that the plugin is still active, would it be ok if we deactivated it temporarily ourselves? It only needs to be inactive for a few minutes, while we check the results.

Thanks for the update. I deactivated the plugin, and the Layout Builder starts working as it should after that. Please try to update the plugin first of all to see if that helps, if not then I would recommend that you try updating WordPress to the latest version as well. If none of those things should make any difference, then please try reaching out to the plugin developers to see if they can see what is going wrong.
As for your initial request; it looks like you are using different sliders for different screen sizes, is that correct? We can look into that further for you, if it’s ok to have the problem plugin deactivated for more than a few minutes?
Best regards,
