    Hi there,
    Thank you so much for your time.
    i have problem about my website, my footer menu.
    It looks like my footer menu display on mobile device is very excursive.
    It is not like your footer display on mobile device like your demo display.
    Can you please let me know what i can do and solve this problem?
    I bought your theme from themeforest, if you want to know my license, please let me know.

    Scroll to the bottom of the page to open a new ticket.

    But the forum ‘Enfold’ is closed to new topics and replies.
    So let me try to reply you here.
    It looks like when i use color section or fullwidth menu, or other fullwidth, it will cause this problem.
    The footer widgets will display excursive.
    But if i remove color section or fullwidth menu, it will display ok.But i have to use color section in some pages.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the screenshots. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.7.6.4) to see if that helps please? The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541

    You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/

    If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

    Thanks a lot for your kindly reply.
    I have to confirm the following, if I update the theme to the latest version, whether it will affect my current website, theme, plug-in use, and cause various layout problems and other errors on the website.
    And I am using the enfold child theme Version: 1.0. If I switch to the latest version of enfold 4.7.6.4(not enfold child)!, will it cause the above problems?
    If not, I will try to backup and update.
    If possible, I will not take the risk.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. You should not update your child theme, only the parent theme. I can’t say if you are going to run into any problems unfortunately, but if you are worried, then you can upload the new version to a separate folder using FTP. After it’s uploaded, then you can rename the old parent theme folder to enfold_old, for example, and the new one to simply enfold. Then the new version should be active, and you can check if there are any problems on your site.

    thanks a lot for your response. I will rey late.
    Now i have another problem.
    It looks like i can not open my portfolio item page for my products.
    Also when i edit portfolio item, i can not preview this page. also i can no update it.i will show “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
    If i delete 1/2 column in color section, it will work fine again. How should this happen and how could i fix it?
