    I’ve managed to create a few custom icons for my site using fontello and svg’s, however everytime I add a new icon re-upload the file the new icons are not being found and show a blank box. If I rename the font and reupload it works fine. I have tried using enable media replace as well to update the existing zip file but this has the same effect.

    If I delete the existing font and reupload then links are lost on other pages and I have to reassign them which is not great. Is there a proper way to update a font file without breaking the links or the icons?

    I won’t know all the icons I will need until the site is developed so having many font files isn’t ideal either.

    Any ideas?

    Think I’ve managed to sort this…

    If the icons are updated then the new ones appear as the black box until the browser image cache is cleared. Afterwards they show up fine
