    Hi,

I have just made a site using Enfold and it’s looking quite fine. There are a couple of things that are not working yet and I am not sure if it is due to the server, the browser being used or something else.

So what I would like to do is this. In the menu which finds itself on the left side (I am using the Enfold Photography Portfolio demo as the basis), I cannot seem to change the Font weight to bold or any of the other weight numbers.

In Advanced Styling, I have selected Main Menu Links to customise. Font Color, Background Color, Font Size, Font Family and Text Transform all work. However, whichever option I choose for Font Weight does not seem to catch. I don’t see any change while with the other options just mentioned, I do.

I have also downloaded the same font from Google and uploaded the versions I want to use, but they still don’t catch.

The font I would like to use is Raleway Bold, or 700, 800.

Is there a way I can maybe use some CSS or something to make this work?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I uploaded the 700 font for you, and that seems to have worked. Please review your site.

If you need more font weights, then you can download them from Google Fonts, then upload them under Import/Export in the theme options.

    Hi Rikard,

Thank you so much for that. I think it works indeed.

Question. Is a Bold option thicker than the 700 one? If so, could that be added as well?
As you can see, I tried to add a font, but don’t know if it works. It shows up as MACOSX (700).

    Thanks again

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. Please try checking the Raleway font on Google fonts, there should be a bolder option than 700. If the font shows up in a different name, then please try to rename either the root folder, or the folder which is located in the root, which contains all the font files. Let us know if you should have any problems doing so.

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

That’s the thing. If I choose Raleway from the Google Fonts list and then choose say Bold and then change it to 900, I do not see a difference. Also not when I download from Google and upload like I did.

With the font you uploaded, when I select that one and then 700 for the weight, I see a slight difference. However, selecting Bold does not change it. But that’s maybe because you only uploaded the 700 weight, right?

I think for now it should be fine. We can close this thread

Thank you again for your expertise and help.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I only uploaded the 700 version yes, that is probably why you don’t see any difference if you select to use 900. I’ll go ahead and close this thread for now then, please open a new thread if you should have any further questions or problems.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
