Hi there,
Thanks so much for the update, great work!!
But I have two questions:
a) where I can find the feature to upload google webfonts to my webserver??and b) the distance between explanation and button in the blog is too small – the button overlays the text. Where can I set this?
Best regards,

May 23, 2018 at 10:10 am #960695You can find it in the section Import/Export in the Enfold settings. It is called Custom Font Manager. But how is the new feature intended to work exactly?
I uploaded a zip file from Google but then what? The website is still using the fonts from the google servers. What has to be done to ONLY load custom fonts from my own server please? And is the option for users to disable Google web fonts (shortcode in the privacy settings) for those who continue to use fonts from the Google servers or is there a combination or connection? Thanks a lot for a little clarification.

May 23, 2018 at 2:35 pm #960816Hi, I just found the info here:
Link to documentationWhat follows is a copy/paste from the documentation, there’s more to be found on the page itself.
It worked on my end, though it looks like you need to put all the fonts you need in one zip file, not upload them as separate font folders.———–
Using the typefont uploader
The uploader is intended to use Google Fonts (https://fonts.google.com/) to avoid connecting to the Google API.Following steps are required for normal use:
Open https://fonts.google.com
Select the fonts you like by clicking the red + sign (you may select multiple fonts)
A “Family Selected” bar pops up at the bottom
When finished click this bar and download the zip file by clicking the red “Arrow Down” sign in the right top corner
Goto WP -> Dashboard -> Enfold (Enfold Child) -> Import/Export
Click button “Upload/Select Typefont zip”
WP Media popup opens, upload the zip file you just downloaded (you can also choose an already uploaded font zip)
Click “Insert zip file” button
When upload is finished we save your options and reload the page so the new fonts become available in the selectboxes of “General Styling” and “Advanced Styling” tabs
Below the “Upload/Select Typefont zip” you see a list of all uploaded fonts with info of available styles and weights

One font dissapeared, the 2nd is still taken from google. Maybe any idea what i could do?May 23, 2018 at 3:46 pm #960872The upload does also not work for me. Neither the zip-file from Google nor the zip-file from Google Webfont Helper seems to be uploaded correctly. The font does not show up unter the Custom Font Manager.

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

AndreasMay 23, 2018 at 7:19 pm #961128I deleted my “fonts” folder where I stored local fonts in the past and now it works. I don’t know if this was the main reason, but I didn’t change anything else.
