    Hi there,

I have updated to the latest version of enfold, from a particularly out of date version (around 3.4).

The live site is still running the old version, and is acting as it should. The new version is installed on a test server, the two site should appear identical.

Everything went well, and 99% of the site is acting as expected. There are however, a couple of issues that I would like some clarification on.

    1. Blog (News) – The News page has dropped its formatting. It appears that the masonry grid is not working. There is also an issue with the advanced layerslider, it is perhaps causing the masonry issue?

    2. Mobile Menu. If you compare the two menus, you will see a huge difference.

I have not changed anything in the theme settings, as I believed the details would be kept on upgrade. From comparing the 2 sites settings, it seems to be the same and there is no obvious solution

Can you confirm what steps I would need to take to have the test site return to the existing style.

    Thanks

    Hey stephenflint,

    Thanks for the login details.

    1. I can’t see any difference between the two News sections on your sites, could you try to explain the problem a bit further please?

    2. There has been a lot of changes to the mobile menu between the current version, and the version you updated from. That is the likely reason of the changes you are seeing. We can help you out with styling your new menu though, if you let us know exactly what you would like to change?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

The 2 new pages are completely different?

The new (beingbuilt) does not have the slider or masonry grid. Although it is set in the CMS. I have pasted both links to news again.

Please send the required CSS to return the menu to its original state. We would like it as it is in the non-beingbuilt site.

I waited over 2 days for this reply and there was no help. Both questions you asked were addressed in the first post. Do I now have to wait another 2 days to get the answers?

This is an urgent request. I only purchased your theme to receive this support and it has been severely lacking!

    Hello,
after updating to Enfold 4.8.1 the ALB function to save an element as template is not working anymore.
    Any ideas?

    Hey,

    Thanks for the details!

1- I went to Enfold theme options > Blog Layout > Blog Layout and chose to use Advanced Layout Builder to create blog page. Then, I edited Masonry element on your blog page and chose to display “Large gap” in Styling > Masonry Settings tab.

2- I went to Enfold theme options > Advanced Styling and edited “Menu Links in overlay/slide out” and changed background color to white and font color to black. Many Enfold users requested an update on mobile therefore we have updated it. If you would like to check out available mobile menu options, please go to Enfold theme options > Main Menu > Burger/Mobile Menu > Menu Overlay Style.

Also, Enfold 4.8.1 is now available which brings WP 5.6.x and PHP 8 compatibilities. To avoid having compatibility issues, please update the theme :)

    @jochenmaier
please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum, attach temporary admin logins in private content field and elaborate on the issue you are having :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit
