    hello I have an error with the classic editor, I cannot put content in pages or in posts, only the html code comes out. I attach the error that wordpress throws me, it seems from your template.

    Hey,

    Thanks for the info!

    You are currently using a very old version of the theme, version 3.8, which is not compatible with your WordPress version. Updating the theme to the latest version 4.8.6.3 would fix the issue.

    Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 4.8.6.3.

    Then, please generate a Personal Token by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates :)

    I also noticed that you have modified footer.php file on your child theme. Please copy a fresh footer.php file from Enfold 4.8.6.3 parent theme and update footer.php file on your child theme :)

    Hey,

    Envato has updated their API and we have implemented those changes in Enfold 4.5 so any version older than 4.5 requires a manual update first.

    If you have backups, we can update the theme for you :)

    I could connect to your server however then I am locked out and now I cannot connect again. I believe I am locked out by security on your server.

    Hi,

    Thanks, it works now.

    I have just updated Enfold to the latest version 4.8.6.4 and confirmed that editing page works fine.

    The only issue I notice is the whitespace on top and that is related to /includes/helper-main-menu.php file you have modified on your child theme. You would need to update that file and re-apply the modification you have made on that file.

    If you would like to temporarily hide the whitespace using custom CSS, you can do so by adding following code to bottom of Quick CSS field in Enfold theme options > General Styling tab

    display: none;
}
