I have 3 sites running Enfold and need to update my Envato API tokens.

I just recently purchased 3 licenses so I have one license per site that I am using and can update the Enfold from the current version of 4.8.2 to the latest versions.

I followed the instructions on making the Envato Token, but I can’t figure out how to assign the purchase code to each token or if I never need to.

Also on the first site after I updated it with a new token went into the child theme and did the manual update it still didn’t see that there was a newer version. Maybe there is a delay as I have seen this, but I am not sure if I need to just download from Envato and upload the actual file or what the best way is to go about this.

    Hey Jason,
Thanks for your patience, you don’t need to assign a specific purchase code / token to a specific site, just ensure that each site uses a unique token.
You would not be able to update v4.8.2 to v5.6.10 with the token, due to how Envato changed the update method for the older version, please manually update. Please note that Envato limits the number of update checks per 24 hours, I believe it is 20 for all sites combined, so if you checked 20 times on one site, your other two sites will have to wait 24 hours.
To update manually update an older version of Enfold you will need to download the latest installable WP version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New
    WordPress_Appearance_Themes_Add-Themes_Add-New.jpg
after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue
    Installing_theme_from_uploaded_file_This_theme_is_already_installed.jpg
then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.

Thank you so much for the helpful reply.

Was it correct that I bought a license for each site in that case or in the future is one license suffice for multiple sites, and if so how many?

    Hi,
You were correct, each license is good for one domain, and it’s subdomains.
Unless there is anything else we can assist with on this issue, shall we close this thread then?

    Best regards,
    Mike
