    Hi,
I’ve been going back and forth with Envato and they insist I need to check with Kriesi about the Envato tokens. (See text of their response below). I thought the new token system is theirs, but apperantly I’m supposed to discuss it with you. I find the new system is confusing. Can you tell me, do we need to generate a token for EACH website? Or is just one token used on all the websites we have a license for the same theme.
Also, we added a token to one website and after saving the token we get a message “we were not able to connect to Envato”. Selecting “Revalidate token” just results in the system churning and nothing happens. Please advise. Thanks.

    From Envato:
I do understand that you have API-related questions that are related to the item Enfold – Responsive Multi-Purpose Theme. The concerns you raised can be solved by contacting the author/creator of the item. Each respective author created the item and they have the expertise in terms of the item’s features and functionalities. Hence, they are our best resource.

Please be advised that Envato doesn’t create any of the items sold on the Envato Market, and because of this, it’s almost impossible for us to support millions of digital items on our platform. Envato Help can only assist with general Marketplace(s) issues, not technical related through the general support system.

    Hey GWS,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create a admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

Thank you for your reply. We revalidated the token today and it worked. I think we are ok there. But do we need to generate a token for EACH license we have for Enfold? Or will one token suffice?

You have to have a license code for each different installation of Enfold. I downloaded the Envato Market plugin and generated code for each site that way. But you can do it there when you log in. Just add a new app code for each site.
