Dear all,
after the update tp WordPress Version 5.0.3–de_DE I cannot find how to build my pages with the themeforest of Envato.
Usually I used one of the templates I once got coded by a marketing agency. So I’m more a user than a tech savvy.
After updating to Version 5.0.3–de_DE I can’t find where and how to use my templates.
So I found a workaround – I installed a Plugin thats called “Classic Editor” Version 1.4.
But this plugin will only be supported until 2021 – latest than I will be confronted with the same issue.
Do you have any hints for me?
I would be happy to use my old templates and still make use of WP 5.0.

StefanieEnfold in the newer versions ( definitly on 4.5.4 ) got on Theme Options at the bottom: “Select Your Editor” There you have the choice.
By the way: My Recomendation is for the devolopers to set the standard not to ‘ ‘ but to : enable_wp_classic_editorThank you Guenni007 for that hint!
I cannot find the option “Select your Editor” – where exactly should I look for that?
I select “Enfold” and than “Enfold Optionen” ; than I can see on the left hand side a navigation with stuff like “Allgemeines Layout”, “Allgemeines Styling”, “Erweitertes Styling”, “Header” …
Is this the area where I should look for that option?
And another question:

What do you mean with “… not to ‘ ‘ but to : …”
Where do I choose this setting and what is ‘ ‘ reffering to?

I just found something in the left hand side menue beneath the topic “Einstellungen” (not beneath “Envato”). There I can chose the “Standard-Editor für alle Benutzer” and check either Classic Editor or Block editor. Is that the thing you referred to?

I see that you are running a very old version of the theme, could you try updating to 4.5.4 to see if that helps please? Then you will have the option in the theme which @guenni007 is referring to. You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
