    Hi,
    have a bit strange problem.
WP + ENFOLD + WPML, the default lanuage is czech, the translation is to english…
I can update/save changes to czech pages, but not to english.

When I make changes, save changes/update page I see page with changes done (e.g. deleted obsolete tickets.) in the administration view… BUT when I check it in frontend, there are no changes. And when I return and reload the en page, all changes are lost…

Have no idea what to do…

    Big thanks for any idea.

    Hi Jan,

Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.5.7) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.

    Best regards,

    Hi,

thank you, I have updated the version of Enfold, but the “bug” is still there.
We are not able to do and save (page update) any changes in en page Tickets (Vstupenky in CZ).
Have no idea, why and whats is going on :(
The client needs to update the tickets, there are more performances in next month.
Thank you for any new idea.

    KInd regards

    Hi,

Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    Hi, thank you.

I have updated the WP version and the Tickets page in En is now editable – possible to save changes,
However, there is absolutely same wrong behavior with other EN pages, so the update was not the reason for problems I guess.

Now I am not able to save changes in Shows/Heroes page

    Big thanks for your help
    Kind regards

    Hi,

    Thank you for the info.

We were able to update the page without encountering any errors. We just added a text block at the very bottom of the page. (see private field)

How can we reproduce the issue? Which element are you trying to edit?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael,

thank you. As I have written above, yes, somehow it works now with tickest-2 page…

BUT TRY TO CHANGE ANYTHING (E.G. THE HEADLINES) ON THE PAGE ” HEROES”
There is the issue reproduced now :(

    Kind regards

    Hi JanMiHero,

Please deactivate all plugins, besides WPML, one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,
thank you, I have deactivated all plugins except WPML, but the is the same problem and bug remaining :(
Several time was cleaning the cache, but did not help.
Not able to do any updates to the page in EN language…
Please, do you have any other idea, client needs to update the web.

(Now I go to activate those plugins again, as this doesnt seem to be the problem …)

    Big thanks
    Kind regards

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

It turned out to be an issue with Yoast and the new block editor. We switched the editor to the classic editor to work around the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello,
    thank you for good news.
The Heroes page is now editable…

My question is, should I edit other pages when logged in with :
    – Edit Page (Block Editor) /this option is on e.g. “Tickets” page
    or
    – Edit Page (Advanced Layout Builder)

Will one of those cause error in updating page again?

    Big thanks
    Kind regards

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

You should edit the page using the advance layout builder (ALB) or the default/classic editor. It actually depends on what editor you chose in the beginning to create the content, but either way you should not be seeing the link to the block editor because it’s already disabled. Please purge the cache or remove the browser history.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
