Good day,
I have our company site running on Enfold (4.5.6). I am trying to update this to the latest version, but am having several issues (I am using a child theme):
1. The theme update option has disappeared with the latest updates on WP (Under Enfold Child Theme). I got around this by using the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin as a temporary fix, but this highlighted another problem.
2. The theme is showing 4.5.6 as the latest version and will not recognise anything newer. I have re-validated the Enfold Key, but still no luck.
3. I tried to re-install the theme as suggested in various posts (e.g. #1254106), but when I try to delete Enfold I simply get a “failed, unknown error” message.
Any suggestions would be very welcome!

Sorry for the problem. Please try to update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.

The FTP method worked and I have updated to the latest versions of WP (5.5.3) and Enfold (4.7.6.5), but the Enfold child theme options are still only visible with the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin. I can keep using that workaround for now, but any ideas what the cause for that would be?
