    Hello,

    one of our customers is currently using the Enfold 4.6.3.1 theme.
    If they try to go to the customizer page, they get following error: gutenberg_can_edit_post_type().

    I saw in your changelog, that with the version 4.7.6 you fixed the issue.

    My question is now, if we can update the theme to the newest version without any problems?

    Hi Alexander,

    Please check our documentation on how to update your theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. I would recommend that you perform the update on a staging/development version of your site first, if you are worried about breaking your production site.

    Hi,
    thanks for your response.
    My question though was not really about how to about the theme, but rather if updating the theme is going to solve our problem and is not going to cause new troubles.

    It’s likely going to fix your problem, yes, but I can’t say for sure. If you should have any further problems after the update, then please let us know here, and include admin WordPress login details to your site in private.
