“updated: Layerslider to the latest version” from the change log.
I continue to get the message: Plugin var/www/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php is reporting an available update.
And the pending update count remains at “1”.
The latest LayerSlider release is now version 6.10.0, released on November 25, 2019.
Enfold 4.7 has Layerslider Version: 6.9.2, released September 3, 2019.
Perhaps a poor choice of words in the change log…,but it would be nice to not see the pending update count.January 14, 2020 at 5:59 am #1173074
I see that version 4.7.1 is now available, but there is some posting of some potential bugs? My main concern is that the Google Maps will display within IOS (mac) devices where that was an issue in the 220.127.116.11 version.
I’d like to confirm that this has been resolved before I attempt upgrading from 4.6.2 to 4.7.1 (or 4.7.2 if it is available soon).
Thanks much!January 14, 2020 at 7:37 am #1173094
I installed the update 4.7.1, the social symbols are still displayed. Thanks

Code appears on the title of slider full screen.

Hey Lexa and BigbatT,
I have not updated yet but just try editing the element and hitting update and then Re-publishing the page, clear performance settings (delete old cached files), Clear cache.
I had this issue with some mods I made to Slider titles on another site in 4.6. See if the above fixes the problem. My understanding is that the shortcodes may not have been re-processed until you click update/publish after the theme update.January 14, 2020 at 12:30 pm #1173254
Thx thinkjarvis for your input but it does not do the trick.
I still have the code in the title after clearing performance, clearing cache and republishing.
I also noticed some translation errors in the French admin tool…. And for Google map, it is written Mailchimp API Key instead of Google Map API Key… It doesn’t matter, but it does not sound very pro…
I’m running 4.7.1 on local. I won’t update my 9 others enfold websites for the moment…

Please fix it

We escaped HTML in slider titles for security reasons however we have reverted back as you guys would like to use it unescaped and that version will be included in upcoming version. We have “avf_slideshow_title” filter that can be used to escape HTML if necessary.
Please go to Appearance > Editor and edit /enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/av-helper-slideshow.php file with this one – https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_7_1/av-helper-slideshow.php
If you would like us to update the file for you, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach temporary admin logins in private content field :)

It’s not only the slider issue but also icons and buttons elsewhere on the site. Please advise.January 14, 2020 at 5:47 pm #1173497
@lfultz issue you are having is CORS related and you can fix it by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/icon/#icons-are-showing-as-rectangular-boxes-

It appears that the issue is with GoDaddy Managed WordPress Hosting. I set up a site on Hostgator and duplicated everything. No issues to report.January 15, 2020 at 8:19 am #1173822
Great, I’m glad that you got things working as they should.

@novotechsoftware – try to set up again your home page in the enfold admin dashboard (theme option) (or in wp admin in setting) and clean cache.

You might want to look at why the “Onesignal Free Web Push Notifications” plugin conflicts with 4.7.1 and makes it impossible to publish menu changes?January 16, 2020 at 2:09 pm #1174957
@steveparkinson1963 could you please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach WP admin logins in private content field so we can look into it?

Wow. Fast response, very impressed. Thanks for the offer. I have removed the plugin and it is now working fine… actually I downgrade to 4.6.3 too, as I can see there are still some bugs in 4.7. So, no need for assistance right now.January 16, 2020 at 4:03 pm #1175067
What bugs besides the plugin conflict are you referring to?
VictoriaJanuary 17, 2020 at 4:22 pm #1175519
Okay, will wait for new update, have SO many sites affected by html no longer allowed in slider titles & captions… for now I am removing the html, but they don’t look as nice and at least two clients have asked me to put it back.
Do you know when new release will be out fixing this (assume this is no more sanitizing on your list)January 17, 2020 at 11:03 pm #1175717
It will be soon, we have fixed this already I just checked out slack :)
