Hi,
the “CSS & Javascript file merging and compression options
in my enfold theme do not work. All CSS & JS files are loaded separately and uncompressed.I only found in this forum answers about install page speed plugins. So my question is, are the two options in the theme just dummy or should they actually work?
What can I do to make it work?The Enfold Theme version 4.5.7 loads 48 CSS and 32 JS files on my website ( without plugins). That are 80 Requests which can be 2 if the merging of your own theme files would work.
System versions:
- WordPress 5.2.2 und einer älteren Version
- Enfold 4.5.7
- Enfold 4.5.6

Normally this option works, however on some installations it does not.
