    Hi all,

    My website makes +200 request internally and I get the following issue when checking the health of my website: http://www.meysnv.be

    ERRORS:

    Error: [] cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10001 milliseconds

    couldn’t verify wp_version_check()

    Okay, so the loading time is reduced by a factor 4 due to a malfunction in the WPML Multilingual CMS plugin. The side is loaded twice(?!). But the problem with the connection timed out still remains, even after disabling the plugin.

    I contacted the hosting company and they simply said “Not our fault, it is the website his fold” so yeah.. Is it?

    You need to install a caching plugin and enable CSS and JavaScript merging.

    Scoring 100/100 in Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix PageSpeed and Yslow (and why you probably shouldn’t bother ;)

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply!

    Could you please try increasing memory limit to 256M? It is currently 128M. You can contact your hosting providers and they can increase the limit for you. Also, have they made sure that you are running new version of cURL library and that there is no firewall or mod_security etc. blocking cURL requests?

    I am having a curl error issue on a managed WordPress hosting account using enfold. memory limit is 256 and godaddy has advised that it is not their issue. I activated the 2019 WordPress theme and the error went away. I activated enfold and the error returns. Please assist.

    The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.
