Hi there.
I’ve purchased Enfold back in 2017.
My website is: http://www.summitguides.org
All worked well until some time ago, when it started to have a bug: in home page it’s missing the header section, and also on the single trip pages (example: https://summitguides.org/en/prodotto/ski-haute-route-of-gran-paradiso/) there are all the pictures missing.
I’ve checked on my wordpress dashboard and it seems I have version 3.8 installed (don’t know why it didn’t updated automatically since all is set up to do it).
I’ve tried to update it via ftp, downloaded the latest .zip from your dashboard and uploaded it via ftp, but it’s showing an error: “Cannot redeclare av_countdown_events_fallback() (previously declared in /home/summitg8/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/events_countdown/events_countdown.php:16)”How to fix it? Of course I don’ t want to loose all the customization I’ve made to the site and upload the raw version.
Thanks.
January 11, 2021 at 4:13 am #1271453Hey filiski,
Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,

You were using Enfold 3.8 which is pretty old. I manually updated the theme to the latest version 4.7.6.4.
Please review your website and refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/ and register your theme to receive auto updates as Rikard suggested.

I can see that images in slider are not showing up in the page you shared. Could you please elaborate on the header issue as well?
I installed Enable jQuery Migrate helper plugin as Enfold is not compatible with WP 5.6 yet and plugin helps with jQuery issues. I am not seeing any error regarding slider but HTML is just empty.
Do you mind if the try de-activating all active plugins for testing purposes?
Best regards,

Even though your images are available in media library, they were not available in elements media uploader. I tried uploading images once again in media uploader and that worked.
Please review your website :)Best regards,

I actually edited each element on your page and copied image link from thumbnails, deleted -80×80 part to get fullsized image instead of thumbnails, downloaded them on my computer and re-uploaded them in element :)
Best regards,

I do not think this is theme related as this is the first time I am seeing such issue. My guess is database related or a plugin conflict, that is why I asked if we could try de-activating plugins earlier.
That being said, I do not mind re-uploading pictures. Could you please share the links of the pages where images are missing? :)
Best regards,

Other thread you shared was last active 2 years ago. jQuery issues are not present when jQuery version is set to legacy one using the plugin. You can also see only jQuery error is thrown by Hyyan WooCommerce Polylang Integration plugin :)
I updated your pages. Please review your website :)
