I am currently running wordpress 5.0.3 and enfold theme 4.5.2. Based on what Godaddy is saying there is either a conflict with Avia Builder when it comes to WordPress 5+ or it could be a theme issue as to why it is not working/loading properly on the backend.
They said check with the developer to see if you guys had any ideas or could help me get it working properly.
I am not running the newest version of enfold yet because I am in the process of changing my site and wanted to wait.
Also I paid 43.00 dollars for support and is this how you guys do support? I can submit a ticket directly?
Thanks for the help,
February 20, 2019 at 4:03 pm #1069507Hey jmarmas3130,
This is our support forum yes, a new thread can be considered a ticket.
Did you try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options? If that doesn’t help then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.
Best regards,

Did not work. Still the same result on the “recent news” page.
February 25, 2019 at 12:21 am #1071056Any update on this?
February 26, 2019 at 5:55 am #1071630Hi,
We would like to apologize for the late response.
You have to set the front and the blog page on the Enfold > Theme Options panel. If you want to use the advance layout builder for your posts or blog page, set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout to the very last option.

IsmaelFebruary 26, 2019 at 5:57 am #1071631Hi,
UPDATE: I found some errors when I checked the “recent news” page. Please set the builder to debug mode so that we can inspect the actual shortcodes.

February 26, 2019 at 1:48 pm #1071762I fixed it but why would you leave it like that? Looked horrible.

February 27, 2019 at 1:52 am #1072107Hey!
I would like to apologize for that. I might have spaced out and forgot to set the settings back after I replied here. Is everything working now?
Cheers!
IsmaelFebruary 27, 2019 at 1:59 am #1072109Yes, but not what I wanted to see this morning.
February 27, 2019 at 2:02 am #1072111Looking at the documentation you provided about the “debug mode” and error message. I gave you the log in information why would I need to set this? Can’t you do this?
Keep in mind I am not a developer nor do I pretend to be one. I am a sales guy that can speak tech.
Thanks,
March 1, 2019 at 3:08 am #1072818Hi,
I tried to edit the files from the Appearance > Editor panel but I get an error. Would you mind adding the FTP details in the private field? We need to add the debug mode snippet.
//https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode
Do you remember adding any custom script to the “recent news” page? If there is custom script, after adding the debug mode, try to remove the script manually from the shortcodes field.

I have no idea if there is some script in the shortcode field. Where would I even look?
Remember I am not a developer/designer. I can only do basic type things so you need to work with me here and keep it simple.

You have to ask your hosting provider for the FTP login info. Where is the site hosted? You can usually find the FTP details in your cpanel.

IsmaelMarch 6, 2019 at 3:47 pm #1075526Here is the FTP login information
March 11, 2019 at 11:05 am #1077259Hi,
Thanks for the update.
The login credentials are invalid. What is the host name, and where did you get that info?
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 12, 2019 at 2:07 am #1077603I got it from the hosting details page under FTP and files section on the Godaddy backend. They are the ones hosting it. That information is the primary FTP user.
Did you enter the password correct?
March 12, 2019 at 2:09 am #1077604here is the host name from what i can see
March 15, 2019 at 7:53 pm #1079218Where are we at with this? I responded so a response would be nice. Taking way longer than it should considering I am paying for support. At this rate I will have to buy another 6 months of support.
Please advice.
March 18, 2019 at 10:19 am #1079791Hi,
We would like to apologize for the late response. Unfortunately, the login credentials don’t work no matter what protocol or settings we use. Have you tried to contact your hosting provider? They should be able to help you set up a valid FTP account.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 19, 2019 at 2:12 am #1080164So I spoke with Godaddy and they had no trouble logging in to the FTP with the information I provided. Here is some other information so hopefully this works.
March 21, 2019 at 8:25 am #1081217Hi,
Could you ask the GoDaddy support to take a screenshot of their FTP settings? It doesn’t work on our end using FileZilla. We tried both SFTP and FTP plus multiple config combinations to no avail.
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 22, 2019 at 7:51 pm #1081985So I heard back from Godaddy and after they finally really dug into why you can’t access the FTP with the information I have provided it turns out they have some FTP issue on their side that is effecting not only this server but others.
They said give them 8 hours from this morning and try logging in again using the information I provided. If it doesn’t work could be a firewall situation then.
Let me know if you can get in.
March 25, 2019 at 5:04 am #1082508Hi,
It’s still not working. Please hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.

IsmaelMarch 25, 2019 at 1:24 pm #1082649Yeah that is not happen. I paid for 6 months of support so we are going to get it fixed. I will let them know and get back to you.
They could be still having issues with the FTP so I will check.
Thanks,

March 25, 2019 at 4:08 pm #1082735I tested it with filezilla and it worked no problem using the login I am providing below. I am not technical and was able to get in so………
When did you try to get in and what did you use for login?
March 27, 2019 at 1:19 pm #1083563Hi,
Thanks for the update.
That one is working. So we managed to set the builder to debug mode and checked the recent news page, but it’s now empty. Good news is that we don’t see any errors both in the front and back end. Did you edit the page? (see private field)
Best regards,
IsmaelMarch 27, 2019 at 1:43 pm #1083591Nice at least there is no error anymore and on the frontend and backend it’s working. I have not touched that page since it was built by a web dev company. Is there something supposed to be in there?
When I post I just go to the “post” section and add posts.
