My enfold presented several problems right away. Initially all slider elements were not working. Reinstalling the theme resolved this issue. Today, after two months of working on the website created with the standard (visual) editor I realize that the preview of my pages is completely different from the online page, as if the theme did not keep the real saving of the changes. Checking the code editor, I realize that this is also wrong: it contains the code of the preview page (with last saved of two months ago and not my last work) and not the latest version of the visual editor. As if the two saves are different, and not aligned. How can I solve? If another user saves the preview (publishing it) I lose all the work done and visible today online. This is a very problem! I specify that all pages have the same problem.
April 4, 2021 at 6:37 am #1292170Hey EdoardoFadda,
Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.8.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update. If not, then please post admin WordPress login details in private, and let us know how we can reproduce the problem you are having.
Best regards,

I have updated the theme as recommended but the problem remains. The preview of the site is still wrong, as is the code. The correct version of the site is the online version, created with the visual editor.April 8, 2021 at 5:44 am #1293167Hi,
Thanks for that. The login details you posted are not working though, please check and verify. Also please let us know how we can reproduce the problem you are having on your site.

RikardApril 12, 2021 at 3:28 pm #1293961Thanks, I have reset the password.
To see the error, just look at the page in visual editor and visual code mode. They are different and the correct one is the online page, for example the home page on http://www.birkinhotel.com, and not the preview page. In the latter it is as if the bailouts had stopped two months ago.April 12, 2021 at 4:03 pm #1293965ATTENTION: If another user, besides me, saves from the code editor, it will be brought into online production, losing all the work done on the visual editor visible online today. It is important not to save the old “autosave” stopped two months ago.
April 13, 2021 at 1:07 pm #1294104Hi Rikard,
I just found another problem. The full width submenu on the mobile no longer works. Menu links work perfectly on desktop, but on mobile clicking takes you back to the top of the page, as if anchor text doesn’t work.
How can I solve? Why has this version of the theme given me so much trouble? It had never happened before.April 15, 2021 at 6:29 am #1294483Hi,
Thanks for that, login details are working now. The only difference I can see between the backend layout, and the results on the front end, is that the contact form should be on the right on the bottom of the front page. Is that one of the problems? If there are more, then please try to explain them a bit further, or post a screenshot highlighting them.
You could try to enable debug mode: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-advanced-layout-builder/#debug-mode, then copy all the shortcodes to a new page, to see if that works better. We can do it for you if you give us permission to do so.

RikardApril 15, 2021 at 11:07 am #1294541Hi,
The problem is not between backend (visual editor) and frontend (online page https://birkinhotel.com). The problem is on the version of the preview page because it is different from the online frontend page. The same problem occurs in the code editor, which is different from the work done on the visual editor. As if the code editor didn’t save anymore! This problem is present for all pages of the web site!
Other problems encountered:
1. The full-width submenu on the mobile no longer works. Menu links work perfectly on desktop, but on mobile you click to go back to the top of the page, as if the anchor text isn’t working.
2. On mobile, the block code present for example on the home page does not return the correct font (Side). On another Enfold site this does not happen to me (the code and the theme are the same).
3. In some pages (for example Collection) the filling between one section and another has some bugs. The correct size is never displayed between sections during installation. This problem occurs on both the desktop and mobile versions.the example screenshots of the errors: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15moV6hQ4z1D1pFHSL9iFzM6RYxXj4Rlc?usp=sharing
I really need to resolve these issues before delivering the site to my client.
Thank you

April 20, 2021 at 4:25 am #1295399Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. I activated debug mode on your site, and copied the shortcodes of your front page to a test page, please see private. Everything seems to be working as it should on the new page, and I can’t see why the preview is not working as it should on the old page unfortunately. Could you try using the new page instead, to see if that works better for you?

I have seen the new page and everything seems ok, but why is it not like that for all the other pages of the site?Another important thing to fix is the top menu not working in the mobile version. The links to the sections of the page do not work. On the desktop it is ok. Find the top menu on the pages birkin-marina, birkin-porto-1870, birkin-castello and birkin-apartments.

April 22, 2021 at 6:06 am #1295925Hi,
I don’t know to be honest with you, but if moving the content of the pages work, then I would suggest that you do that. The only thing I can think of might be WordPress transients, you could try using this plugin in order to try to remove them: https://wordpress.org/plugins/transients-manager/. If that doesn’t help, then I’m out of ideas unfortunately.
I don’t understand what you mean by the menu not working, it seems to be working fine on my end, both on desktop and mobile. And you don’t have any section/anchor links in your menu.

RikardApril 27, 2021 at 5:21 pm #1297046Hi Rikard,
I’m talking about the full width submenu in the links that I am attaching. In the mobile version, clicking on the submenu items “le camere” “i servizi” “gallery” “faq” and “contattaci” do not lead to the section of the page, but always to the top of the page. Why?April 30, 2021 at 8:01 am #1297483 -
