When trying to edit a page within my website, produced in Enfold, I get this message: Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in … wp-content/themes/enfold/config-layerslider/LayerSlider/layerslider.php on line 109. Is this my error, a service provider error or an Enfold error?
Please send us a temporary admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.
Also, do you know what PHP version you are running on the server? You might need to update it.
Thanks Rikard, log-in details below. The site works and I can see the content, but I cannot edit anything or reach my Dashboard. ATB, Gwyn
Thanks for the information!
Can you please contact your hosting provider once again and ask them to upgrade PHP version? You can upgrade it to between 5.6.x – 7.1.x :)
I have asked 123Reg to upgrade my PHP to 7.1 and will contact you again when they tell me they’ve done it.
Ok, thanks for the feedback. We’ll keep the thread open in case you should need any further help.
Hello Rikard and Yigit
Harlech.org is now running PHP 7.0.15.
Great, did that help with your problem? If not then please post WordPress admin login details in private as well so that we can have a closer look.
OK Rikard and Yigit, many thanks for your prompt response and my editing control has now been returned to me! ATB, Gwyn
