Hello –
I am currently running Enfold version 3.4.7 on a managed wordpress hosting with GoDaddy. I want to update the theme version so it will work better with my plugins and be more secure, but it will not allow me to do so. I disabled the plugin (Yoast SEO) that does not work with the old version of Enfold (it keeps my backend pages from loading when enabled, keeping me from being able to make updates to my website). When I try to run the update, it tells me the following:
The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.
Enabling Maintenance mode…
Updating Theme Enfold (1/1)
Downloading update from …
An error occurred while updating Enfold: Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.Disabling Maintenance mode…
All updates have been completed.
Go Back to Enfold Theme Panel
What do I need to do in order to make the update? I talked to GoDaddy and they told me that I need to update to cPanel and transfer my website from my managed WordPress site to that one. However, the person who set up our website runs many other website as managed WordPress sites with the same theme with no issues so I know it is possible to do so with our current hosting setup.
Thanks!

Thank you for using Enfold.
That version is quite old and the automatic update may not work properly with the latest version of WordPress. You may need to upgrade the theme manually via FTP.

IsmaelNovember 13, 2019 at 8:29 pm #1156492But where do we get the updated files? When I go to my account to download theme files and try to load it, it still gives me error/failed. And I can’t edit any pages even though I installed the “Disable Gutenberg” plug in! Help??
