This Ticket follow: Link masonry image to specific URL
If you are integrating multiple masonry galleries in you website and you use it to hierarchically order them in sequence. The first gallery-images link to deeper galleries and there the images should open as lightboxes. The first gallery uses a link-image of the deeper gallery.
But if you use an image twice or more, masonry stores the link to the image in wordpress media store an so another insert with different link-settings – e.g. lightbox offer – will not work because of always using the stored link from the first gallery.
I think, the option may be to store the link not to the default wordpress media gallery.
Did someone have the same problem?

I’m very sorry for the late response. I forgot to track the previous thread.
Where can we see the issue again? I checked one of the pages with the gallery but I don’t see any issues with it. ( see private field )

I use the masonry gallery on different pages of my site. If I want to use an image from my media gallery on two different masonry galleries, the issue arises if I want to have different links applied to those images within their respective galleries. The link applied to the image gets ‘fixed’ to that image.

No sorry, i had again to transmit some infos in paralel to this message.
we “solved” it uploading the image 2 times with different names – not a beautiful solution.Hope to solve it soon!
every integration of the masonry-gallery needs to provide custom links independend from each other!

If I want to use an image from my media gallery on two different masonry galleries, the issue arises if I want to have different links applied to those images within their respective galleries.
Thank you for the update. I understand the issue now. The “Custom Link” option is a unique custom field and it is assigned to the media file or image itself. It is not created per gallery. Yes, the only workaround at the moment is to upload images with different file names.
Please feel free to request – or vote if already requested – such feature on Enfold feature request form.
