GuestHello, I’m currently using Enfold on http://www.iekomedia.com which was purchased as a template when I signed up to Envato hosting program, which is now run by dreamHost. I am having an issue loading the edit pages in the wordpress side. Dreamhost believe they know what the issue is
“My best advice, I’m afraid is to show the test results to the theme developer and see if they can tell you how to have the theme run without PHPSessions and the associated Cookies which is what is killing server-side cache.”Will there be an update released for this? I am unable to edit or post anything. Pages just show white but do no load content or edit areas.

GuestHello Victoria, I actually explained why I can’t register. I did not purchase the page directly through you, I selected it from Envato as part of their templates to choose from when you sign up to their web service. The enfold is the template I chose. If you go to the website you will see it is in fact your template. This is not a forum issue because I and like others decided to go this route so we could focus on our business not troubleshoot the website. Now i’m trying to update the content, the pages won’t load, and you are limiting yourself and me by suggesting you can only help unless I register when the issue is your issue and this could probably get fixed in seconds.
I am asking for help which means I seek a solution. Not guesses that generally come from forum posts. Please help, or provide a better solution that fits the terms you set when you allowed Envato to host your web page taking away ability to get some code you need in order to register.
Thank you!April 19, 2019 at 8:12 am #1092629Hi,
Thanks for the update. I see that you are running an old version of the theme, could you try to update to the latest version (4.5.6) of the theme to see if that helps please? The update to 4.5.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please delete the old version of the theme, then upload the new one. Make sure that you have backups of the site before you start updating.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

GuestHello Rikard,
I am unable to follow the links because I am not able to register for account. I purchased my webpage via envato hosting as a starting template. I was not given a purchase number since envato was able to make any change I requested. Since then Dreamhost took over for Envato as the host but providing a webpage was one part of the service that was not taken over. So at this point i’m in a loop. Dreamhost is aware of the issue and willing to manually update for me but since I cannot get access to the links you provided I cannot provide this info to them. If there is a way for you to post the info directly here so I can relay it to them or a download link to the updated template. At this point I am out of options and I didn’t cause it, just simply wanted an easier solution in having a website without changing it every year. The links you provided have (purchase code hidden if logged out) in most of the link which makes it impossible to track.
thank you!April 22, 2019 at 3:24 pm #1093347Hi,
You are currently using a very old version of the theme. Updating it to the latest version would fix the issue you are having.
You could simply ask Dreamhost to update the theme manually via FTP and that is it :)Please be aware that since you are using a very old version of the theme, you may need to reconfigure some options/settings such as header and widgets.
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!

DreamHostApril 24, 2019 at 6:51 am #1093874Hi,
You would need to download the latest version from Themeforest, where you have bought our template.

GuestThis is like a cruel joke, Basilis and anyone else new who decides to join the conversation at least take 5 min to read the previous posts. Please do not show how elite you are by not, at least attempting to understand the conversation. This could have been solved 15 emails ago.
I signed up for Envato hosted – I selected the enfold template as part of starting the account, this is a copy of my invoice, is has no direct info about the enfold template, the emails to follow are discussions because at the time I did have issues getting started with the template and envato told me any issues to report to them and they would update the template. So all I had to do was focus on the content.
Dreamhost took over but the information for the template is still with envato who owns themeforest or the bulk of its content. how could you do a deal and not know what templates are being used in envato hosted service.
If you are familiar with this process maybe you can tell me where this purchase code is so I can register and get access to the FTP information. Otherwise I have no choice but to find the template and leave a review. I think after this many replies and back and forth between you and dreamhost, doesn’t look like i’ll get help because you want to systematically lock yourself in your own system rather than helping me with your own product. I didnt sign up for this. I pay just like everyone else. Apparently either no one knows whats going on, or no one is choosing to actually help.
