Hello,
I´m using “Head, Footer and Post Injections” plugin to insert facebook pixel. And in enfold cookie settings I´m using the 2nd option that users must accept cookies.
But the facebook cookie is still active either before accepting cookies and also when not allow cookies.
Enfold is not blocking it? See example link in privat section.Best,

You need to add a custom cookie to the Enfold settings, only then it will work.
Here are the docs for you:

VictoriaSeptember 23, 2020 at 5:01 pm #1247931okay, I´ve added the Facebook-Cookie “_fbp” now with path “/” (as I saw in developer tools.
But this cookie ist still active before the user accepts cookies. So it isn´t possible to block facebook-pixel-cookie with enfold? Or did I something wrong or missed something?September 27, 2020 at 3:38 pm #1248794Hi Maw87,

but in the Chrome Cookies-Tab, if you select life-fi… instead of facebook, you see the _fbp Cookie (see screenshot in privat)best,

Please delete that cookie, open the browser in incognito mode, and see if the cookie is set before you accept the settings.

VictoriaSeptember 29, 2020 at 4:59 pm #1249436Hi Victoria,
I deleted it and opened a new incognito window. The cookie just came again before I accept the cookies. So enfold doesn´t block it. You can try it – should be the same on your side?best,

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?

How did you add the Facebook Pixel code? The theme will not be able to block any cookies generated by the Facebook Pixel because its script loads automatically even before the cookies are accepted or the privacy options are configured, and by this time it is already too late.
One way to block the FB Pixel script from loading or from executing is to embed it in the Enfold > Google Services > Google Analytics field. This will allow the theme to prevent the script from loading until the user accepted the cookies.

as in my first post “I´m using “Head, Footer and Post Injections” plugin to insert facebook pixel”.
Okay so I will insert it with the google field. maybe you can rename this in future. because “google services/analytics field” can be misinterpreted. But now it looks like its working!

MarcOctober 6, 2020 at 11:47 am #1250811Hi!
Thank you for the update.
The field is not really intended for embedding Facebook Pixel code, but in your case it should work. However, please note that the pixel code will also be disabled if the user chose not to accept Google Analytics tracking.
Cheers!

okay that´s bad :/ is there another solution?
October 8, 2020 at 11:47 am #1251382Hi,
Another user provided a snippet that might help in this case. The code checks if a certain cookie or cookies exist and only then it will load or render the Google Tag Manager script. You might be able to use the same code for Facebook Pixel.
Please check the link below.
Best regards,
