I am trying to install Enfold on WAMP/Local Host. I am trying to add the theme through WP – Appearance – Add New – Upload Theme. I am selecting the enfold.zip file. Just the theme file not the rest. I have downloaded the installable files only and the other file with everything. Neither works. I get the error message Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.
I have tried other themes without issue on this install. Any ideas? I have never had this problem with WordPress before.
Ok. I am tried on 3 different Window computers using WAMP with no luck. Tried on Mac with MAMP and it installed. Is there a reason why it would work on MAC and not on Windows??

It should work fine. Have you tried copy&pasting the theme folder inside wp-content/themes folder manually? If not, please do so.

YigitI tried that and it gave me an error page with this message ( ! ) Warning: fopen(C:\wamp\www\wordpress/wp-content/themes/enfold/style.css): failed to open stream: Permission denied in C:\wamp\www\wordpress\wp-includes\functions.php on line 3879

Please check the folder permissions of C:\wamp\www\wordpress/wp-content/themes/ and the sub-folders – make sure it’s set to 755 or 775.

PeterThanks for your replies. I know how to change permissions in CPanel, but do not know how to do it in WAMP/Local Host. Are you able to tell me how?
