YigitMarch 15, 2018 at 12:06 pm #927230Sorry if I didn’t make it clear that it was the same issue. I dowloaded the code you gave a link to and replaced it in class-framework-widgets.php. That is when the error occurred. I bypassed it by keeping the old section about google maps. So both works at the moment but I could see that the code section for google maps was a bit different from the old one.
Regards
NinaMarch 15, 2018 at 12:32 pm #927242Hi,

March 15, 2018 at 3:38 pm #927400Hey!
@raphaelperis Please start a new thread and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field.
@advantage09 Which version of Enfold are you using? Only section i edited in the file was regarding Instagram widget. To make sure i compared files as well and can confirm Google maps code was not touched.Best regards,
YigitMarch 15, 2018 at 8:54 pm #927682I tried the new code within my Appearance > Editor but received the following error:

March 15, 2018 at 9:33 pm #927731@Yigit sorry I’m new on this forum, what do you mean about “thread”?
March 15, 2018 at 9:33 pm #927732Hey!
@kellycraftmedia Please make sure you are using Enfold 4.2.6 – kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/updating-your-theme-files/. If that too does not help, please start a new thread under Enfold sub forum and attach FTP and WP admin logins in private content field so we can look into it.Best regards,
YigitMarch 15, 2018 at 9:35 pm #927735Thanks Yigit! I updated the theme – that should have been my first step and I know better than that. Thank you, it worked!
March 15, 2018 at 9:35 pm #927736Hey!
@raphaelperis Please go to https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-post to start your own thread. Content in private content field is only visible to creator of the thread and to us, moderators. You can insert FTP and WP admin logins into that field.
That is why we are asking you to start a new thread :)Best regards,
YigitMarch 16, 2018 at 9:26 am #927990@Yigit, alright thanks :)
March 19, 2018 at 12:43 pm #929030Hey, ty for the quick fix.
March 19, 2018 at 7:07 pm #929244I have an Enfold child theme and have no idea how to insert all that code into the parent Enfold theme. My website (too) is coming up with “Instagram has returned invalid data” after many uninstalls and reinstalls. After reading all these posts, now I understand, I just don’t understand how to put all that code in.
1) Could you help me with my Instagram widget as well, please?
subquestion: it will not mess with the sidebar Instagram widget will it? That is working fine which is why I don’t understand why it is not working in the footer as well.
Also, when I try to “add” a widget to the footer (or anywhere), if there is already something in there, it won’t add it. I’m not sure what I am doing wrong – it was quite easy when you could simply drag and drop it in but I no longer have that choice.
2) Can you advise on how to easily put a widget into my footer, etc.
Please let me know!
Thank you!!
Lynnie
