hi guys
today I noticed that the enfold forms aren’y working on the website for my client.
they send the “client” email saying thank you, but they don’t send it to the email configured on the form to received this forms, the same domains as the site.
tried with CF7 and it sends ok, the destination email gets the email, but not the enfold forms! and we have a lot of them on the site
i’m using a SMTP to send with the domain and that also validates the tests…
thanks cheers
August 30, 2019 at 4:55 pm #1132374update the theme and now it shows this message on every enfold form:
This contact form is deactivated because you refused to accept Google reCaptcha service which is necessary to validate any messages sent by the form.
please help….

August 31, 2019 at 12:04 pm #1132515Also getting this, looking into it now.
August 31, 2019 at 12:38 pm #1132518Looks like it is the latest update 4.6? I just updated the site this morning and then noticed. I have tried turning off the Captcha on the form setting and noticed there is a new one called ‘Use Enfold Numeric Captcha’ which the form settings had defaulted to. Changed it back and even turned it off with no result.
September 1, 2019 at 4:33 pm #1132679same here. no matter what setting I choose, this is on my contact page. even disabling recaptcha!
I have both v3 and v2 keys registered, have followed your documentation on setting it up. Still nothing.
Please fix ASAP!

September 1, 2019 at 10:49 pm #1132746Hi,
It looks like it might be due to conflicts with ‘Cookie bar’ try. to disconnect it, if active, it works with me.See

September 2, 2019 at 3:53 am #1132776I’m seeing the same problem with Chrome. With Thunderbird, the message “This contact form is deactivated because you refused to accept Google reCaptcha service which is necessary to validate any messages sent by the form.” is not displayed. And even on Chrome, I can still use the form and it works.
I am not using the cookie consent so that’s not the problem for me.
If I go to the Google settings, it shows that I should check the API keys. So I do (both v2 and v3) and they both come back with success. When I preview my contact form page, it looks fine. But when I go to the real site, it’s showing that message.
Any solutions coming?
September 2, 2019 at 1:02 pm #1132960I’m facing the same problem. Seems to be linked with the upgrade to 4.6?
September 3, 2019 at 1:07 pm #1133352Hi,
Thank you for the info.
@biomechaenoid: Can you give us access to the dashboard? We would like to check if it’s actually related to the cookie consent settings. Have you tried using a different email address?@foreveryoneelse: Please open your own ticket and post the necessary details in the private field so that we can check them.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 4, 2019 at 12:27 am #1133577I have the same problem.
The option “Hide Form Labels – Check if you want to hide form labels above the form elements. The form will instead try to use an inline label” on the forms isn’t work too.

September 5, 2019 at 11:05 am #1134310Hi,
There is a new mandatory privacy shortcode called “[av_privacy_allow_cookies]” that will allow users to accept all cookies. It has to be added in the privacy modal popup or the privacy page and enabled by the users, otherwise the cookie consent message bar will just pop up on every page load. You can also set the “Enable cookie consent messages” to the 4th option (Use as a simple message bar only) if you don’t want to add the new shortcode.
The dev team is working on a solution that will enable this privacy option by default so that you’ll have the option not to add it.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 5, 2019 at 11:24 am #1134326Thanks Ismael! Really appreciate your response.
Thanks
September 5, 2019 at 1:03 pm #1134379also, the link I made in the “Enable cookie consent messages” does not open any site …
September 5, 2019 at 2:09 pm #1134419Hi Guys sorry for the late reply.
Problem solved related to the forms – it is a plugin issue, or more, I’ve deactivated the SMTP Mailler and now it sends – try to deactivate all the plugins and then one by one see what s the one.
This is odd since the website is working for like 2 years without issues – this one si solved but now I have the maps not showing!!
theres a message: “maps were disable by the visitor on this site. Click to open the map in a new window.”
like, come on! Solved one issue another one appears?!
the maps are ok on the event calendar.
help?! please?!
September 5, 2019 at 2:15 pm #1134424** UPDATE **
It’s related to the cookie bar that’s part of the Enfold theme.
Deactivated and problem solved – have to use a 3rd party plugin, another one, so I can use the cookie bar, ti’s mandatory in the EU..
Hope you guys solve this quickly!
Thanks!
September 6, 2019 at 8:03 am #1134787Hi,
Sorry for the problems. We released a new version of the theme a few hours ago which should hopefully fix the problems you are having. Could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.6.1) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 6, 2019 at 10:05 am #1134856I have updated the theme, but I still having the same problem. If I activate the cookie bar, them the contact forms do not work…
September 6, 2019 at 1:08 pm #1134913Hi Rikard
Ok I’ve updated and the forms are still ok.
On the google maps side, it’s “weird” – when you open the page with the map, it says that message “maps were disable by the visitor on this site. Click to open the map in a new window.” – but when you click ok to accept the cookies and reload the page, it shows the map ok
example: https://www.ecolife-experience.com/eco-quintas/
map not showing until you click on the ok of cookie bar, and then it shows – is it supposed to work like that?!
thanks!
September 9, 2019 at 10:38 am #1135881Hi,
@hector1069: We set the “aviso-legal-y-privacidad/” as the default privacy page. You can now add the”[av_privacy_allow_cookies]” shortcode in that page or in a modal popup window if you want so that users can have the option to accept cookies, or you can just leave it as is, but make sure that the site is running on the latest version of the theme (v4.6.1).
@biomechaenoid: Yes, users have to accept cookies in order to view the map.Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 9, 2019 at 11:39 am #1135915Ismael, If I set teh pate in a modal popup Window the problem appears again. I can not set this option as it was before!!

November 9, 2019 at 4:00 pm #1155220This contact form is deactivated because you refused to accept Google reCaptcha service which is necessary to validate any messages sent by the form.

November 13, 2019 at 2:27 am #1156240Hi,
@hunter74: The spam protection can always be disabled if you don’t want it, and be replaced with the default captcha option. Or try to use a third party plugin for your contact forms instead of the default one. Please create a new ticket/thread if you need further assistance. Thank you for understanding.Best regards,
Ismael -
