    I’m using Version 4.4.1. trying to get new Version (4.5.6) and i keep getting the message Enfold: Download failed. Problem downloading theme.

    I’ve tried downloading zip file from theme forest and that won’t work either, also tried appearance ;themes update and that doesn’t work either
    please can you help?

    Hi Carol

    Unfortunately the auto-update does not work in this case.
    Are you familiar with FTP?

    If yes, please follow this step by step guide which explains how to update Enfold manually via FTP.

    Hi Michael,
    Thank you for your reply, unfortunately I haven’t got a clue about FTP 😓 I did read through it, i felt stress levels rise when you say ‘ open ftp ‘…wouldn’t know how to do that.

    I’ll see if I can get someone to help me do this.

    As far as i understand – he fails to download even from themeforest. (Envato)
    But you are definitly logged in there?

    Hi Carol,

    Are you sure that you are logged in to Themeforest when you are trying to download the theme? If that is not the problem then please post a link to your site so that we can have a closer look.

    Same problem here. I bought and downloaded theme Enfold, installation package, from Themeforest today.
    When I tried to install, WordPress uploaded the theme and started the installation. But said Outdated link, try again.

    My word press was corrupt so I had to start a fresh … lost everything but out of the ashes flies the Phoenix (so to speak) so I’m happy with my new restart…happy days!
