I bought the enfold theme a week ago. And I still have problems with this to this day. Initially, when I create a grid on my page and update it, everything is gone. Also the content. Tried again yesterday and again after an update my page was completely destroyed. Who can help me with this?
December 11, 2023 at 11:01 am #1427759Hey Faatje79,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Did you add any html tags or scripts to the page? Please make sure that there are no invalid tags in the page, and that all tags are closed properly. Invalid tags could break the layout of the page and result in missing content after updating.

IsmaelDecember 13, 2023 at 3:27 pm #1428008thnx Ismael for the advice,
I don’t import a template and build the page manually. I’m still having the same problem that doesn’t seem to be resolved.
December 13, 2023 at 4:30 pm #1428014Hi,
It’s likely that you have open html markup in your content, could you try checking for anything like that? If you need further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private, and let us know how we can reproduce the problem you are having.
Best regards,
RikardDecember 13, 2023 at 4:38 pm #1428017you say If you need more help, please post the admin’s WordPress login details privately. But how exactly can I do this? This is new to me.

December 15, 2023 at 2:58 pm #1428223Hi,
Thanks for that. On which page are you having this problem?
Best regards,
RikardDecember 15, 2023 at 3:53 pm #1428232Hi Rikard,
Basically on every page. But the problems started at the welcome page. So I gave it an other name, and made a new one. Even there I have problems with savings after the update.
December 16, 2023 at 6:44 pm #1428282Hi,
Do you mean that you are creating a welcome page, or homepage and when you go to your site you can’t see it?
This is because in your theme settings you have not selected a frontpage:
Or do you mean that when you save the page some of your elements disappear, this is because you have added HTML characters to some of your title fields and have made an error:
First please note the red error warning, please don’t do this, and follow the link in the message to our documentation and read: Using special characters
Second the reason your page has the error is because you added a opening strong tag and no closing strong tag, so any missing HTML tags can break the page, please be careful.
I found in a different element you made another error with two opening tags and no closing tags:
So please try to remove all of these broken tags, if you can’t save the page to correct the tags, try deleting these pages and start over with a new page and try the solution in our documentation.Best regards,
MikeJanuary 5, 2024 at 9:17 am #1429334How can I make the slide show fully visible on my phone?
January 5, 2024 at 11:21 am #1429338Hi,
This looks like a new topic, please note that we ask that each thread stays on a specific topic, this helps other users find solutions based on the opening subject line quicker.
When I check you site on mobile your slider is fullscreen, so I assume that you are asking if it can be fullscreen and so the background image similar to the desktop version.
Your slider is using a landscape image, but mobile is typically a portrait layout, so your best solution would be to create a second slider for mobile devices and choose a image in a portrait layout.
Or you could try moving the image to the left so the person is shown in the middle on mobile devices with this css:@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { #top.home .avia-fullscreen-slider .avia-slideshow-inner .avia-slideshow-slide { background-position: right center !important; } }
Please ensure to copy the code from the forum and not an email notification so the symbols are not converted.
After applying the css, please clear your browser cache and check.
Please note that testing with iPads & iPhones can be hard to clear the cache, often you need to also clear the history to fully purge the cache, following these steps for Safari and note Step 4 where you will Clear the History.
If this helps you with this topic please let us know so we can close this thread.
Thank you for your patience and understanding and for using Enfold.

MikeJanuary 5, 2024 at 11:46 am #1429344Hi Mike,
Very nice that you responded quickly. I couldn’t find where to open a new topic so I put it in my penultimate one. I would like to know how I can do this better.
What you just explained to me is very new to me. So I don’t really understand what to do. I can move the photos, but I would of course prefer it if the photo were shown in full. Should I perhaps choose a different slide view for this?
And what I also wonder is whether there is an easy plugin with which I can easily adjust everything at mobile phone level?
I would like to hear a response and hopefully you can help me on my way. Because the website is online now and does not look very neat to the customer.
Greetings,
Fa
January 5, 2024 at 12:10 pm #1429347Hi,
Thanks for the feedback, I see that your image has 50% black area on the left, and a person on the right on your desktop size screen.
If you also want this for mobile and you don’t require the slider to be full height, then try the “Fullwidth Easy Slider” instead of the “Fullscreen” slider that you are using, the Fullwidth slider will scale down for mobile.
Or you can use the Fullscreen slider you have now for desktop, and the Fullwidth for mobile, to do this go to the advanced tab and the Responsive settings for each slider and choose the devices to hide the slider on:
If I don’t understand correctly perhaps a mock up would help us understand better.Best regards,
Mike -
