    Hi,
    I used the enfold contact form and become a lot spam messages even with no input in the requierd fields.

    What is the solution?
    And are the messages stored somewhere online or are they just forwarded to my mail?

    Thanks,
    Ivan

    Hi Ivan,

    The email is only forwarded to your email and not stored anywhere.
    As for spam, please use captcha: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/contact-form/#what-is-captcha
    Hope this helps.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Ivan,

    Thanks for the update. Did you enable Google Recaptcha as well? If not, then please try that out as well: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/contact-form/#activate-google-captcha. If you should need any further help, then please post admin WordPress login details in private.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi Rikard,
    thanks a lot.
    If I enable more than it would be more “difficult” for possible clients to contact us.

    The thing is that I already enable 2 “must have” for the contact form, and the spam bots still ignores both and sending me mail (10- 15 spam mail per day). I am becoming spam mail without entering/accepting the requierd fields.
    On other contact forms before this was not possible.

    Can you check/update your contact form ?

    Thanks,
    Ivan

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    If this continues to happen, your site is probably a target and they found a way to bypass the simple captcha script. You may need to use a different contact form or use another security plugin such as WordFence or All In One WP Security & Firewall to control the site traffic and block suspected addresses.

    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordfence/
    // https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-security-and-firewall/

    You could also try this plugin.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
