Hi,
I am working with an Enfold child theme. Version of the main theme is 4.1. Now, I would like to update the main theme to the newest version. My Problem: In the update section of my theme it says: “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.4.1)”What could be the problem?
Best regards,
DanielMay 13, 2020 at 7:33 pm #1212723We’re experiencing the same issue with our Child Theme. Try to check manually but it says, “No Updates available. You are running the latest version!” Looking forward to an update.

May 15, 2020 at 6:43 am #1213130Hi,
Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,

thank you very much for your explanations. Before I try the update manually, I have one more question: As described, I am working with a Child Theme. Do I have to worry the the update could damage (overwrite) my child theme?
Best regards,
