For some reason, someone at Kriesi closed my prior thread, which was never solved. It seems that a person who wasn’t even the one who created the thread said he had solved his problem (Cameron) and you assumed that I had solved mine. I have been working with you for weeks and weeks on this problem, being asked the same questions over and over again by your techs, but no one seems to make any progress. I have over 120 hours into the development of my site and CANNOT update the site without the Avia Editor getting stuck in an endless loop. This is so frustrating and I wish someone could help me with this. PLEASE, SOMEONE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS and provide the support that I need to resolve this problem. PLEASE. HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. I’ve included a link to the prior unresolved thread below.

September 26, 2015 at 6:34 am #509358Hi MA09633,
Sorry about that, reading the other thread I think Basilis thought that it was you who got your problems fixed. That one of the problems with other users being able to write in threads, we’re working on a new support system to avoid that in the future though.
So where are you with your problem now? I think the best advice I could give you is to try to recreate the page once again and make sure to not use any html markup which could break the builder.
Thanks,
RikardSeptember 26, 2015 at 3:47 pm #509530Hi,
Where am I with my problem now you ask. I’m exactly where I was when I started on the last post. Nothing has been fixed. I tried to use the <h4> header to illustrate the problem and allow you to recreate it quickly. However, it happens anytime I create a new page with any complexity. Post or page, it still locks Avia Editor in an endless loop. So your advice about trying to create a new page doesn’t help. I’ve done that at least half a dozen times and it always locks up.
It seems like there has been a disconnect in the support I have been receiving from you. I have been asked to do things by many support techs but no one seems to follow through. It is like no one reads the rest of the thread before giving new advice that really isn’t based on a thorough review of the problem. I have been asked to do the following:
1. Disable plugins (done)
2. Disable Wordfence so you can login (done)
3. Provide a login ID (done)
4. Have my hosting service create a PHP INFO file (done)
5. Try to explain what creates the problem (done-many times)But yet, I can’t seem to get anyone who follows-up on the items above. I’m not sure if anyone has really looked carefully at this issue. Is there a Level 2 support that I can be sent to? I really fell helpless here because I’ve bought your product, invested thousands of dollars of time in creating the site, and I’m stuck with Enfold. So there’s really no way that I can solve the problem on my own with out starting with a new theme company and spending thousands of dollars to re-create a new site. I was under the impression when I bought Enfold that I would be able to get support if there was a problem. So I’m hoping that we can solve this. I would REALLY, REALLY appreciate it if someone could sincerely help with this problem by looking carefully at all that I have written and done here.
Thank you.
September 28, 2015 at 5:25 am #509787Hi,
Sorry about the problems you’re having and sorry for not being able to help you out better. I started out recreating your whole page and when I got to the first paragraph with the h4 in the right column I got the same problems you are describing. I have never seen this problem before so I’ve asked the rest of the team to take a look as well. Please bare with us for a while.
Thanks,
RikardSeptember 28, 2015 at 5:46 am #509794Hi!
Again, we are very sorry for the closed thread. We will try our best to help you out.
We tried to access the advance layout builder but it’s not working as described. There is this old error regarding “fastcgi”, it’s a server api. Switching to “cgi” somehow fixed it for another user. If you don’t mind, maybe, you can ask the hosting provider to switch the server api to “cgi” as stated here:
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/avia-layout-builder-not-loading/#post-137892
https://kriesi.at/support/topic/big-issues-setting-up-a-complete-new-site-with-enfold/#post-335920Thank you for your patience.

IsmaelSeptember 29, 2015 at 11:56 pm #511046Okay, I tried that. Here’s the answer I got:
“Okay our shared hosting uses suPHP (in turn, means FastCGI) to allow multiple PHP versions be available to use. Switching to CGI isn’t an option under those circumstances, unfortunately.”
“local installs versus hosting installs are really difficult to troubleshoot as we’ve no way to duplicate the local environment. You can try changing the PHP version for firstmarksolutions.com in cpanel — I have seen various plugins have compatibility issues with new/older PHP versions. e.g. 5.4 doesn’t work, but 5.3 or 5.5 does…”
I tried changing the version of PHP to 5.3, 5.4, 5.5, and 5.6 but the problem still existed.
Also to address the issue in the other thread, “Make sure that your subdomain is allowed to exceed the php memory limit of 64M. Contact your host. You need at least 128M.” The host tells me my memory is set “memory_limit is set at 256M”They say, “If the theme developers can provide you with any other solutions than switching to cgi, if we can accomodate, we certainly will do so.”
October 1, 2015 at 1:15 am #511889Well, another solution could be to move the h4 heading from the Text Block and having it as a Special Heading element, that’s what i’ve done now.

JosueOctober 4, 2015 at 6:05 pm #513371Okay, seems like some progress. Questions:
1. I’m confused. HOW did you get the editor to allow you to edit that page? It was impossible to edit, and therefore couldn’t be changed by anyone who tried before.
2. Now that you made the change, the page looks different than all other pages under the “Services” parent. Specifically, on this page, AFTER THE WIDE BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM, it shows a sidebar. This sidebar doesn’t show up anywhere else on these pages that have “Services” as a parent. However, on this page, despite all settings being the same, using default template, etc., it shows up.
3. The big problem was that the H4 header issue was only one of many that created the endless loop problem. Anything of complexity caused the problem. Because the H4 problem hasn’t been solved, I don’t think that the other problems have been solved (tested a few, and still getting the hangup.) I’m delighted that we may have the one page working, but I still can’t develop new pages or posts, which is the real problem.
Thank you for your time on this!October 5, 2015 at 11:50 am #513637Hi!
I was able to edit the page now managed to remove the sidebar on the page via Layout > Sidebar Settings. You can check it here: http://firstmarksolutions.com/services/finra-rule-3120-testing/
Are you still experiencing the lag issues? I tried to add a special heading element on the test page and it works fine, no lags or script errors.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 5, 2015 at 2:15 pm #513788I think this has created a work around. It didn’t solve the problem because I can’t use HTML code within AVIA without it getting hung up. But I guess I don’t need to. Disappointed because Enfold’s features don’t all work for me. But I suppose there is no way to fix whatever this problem is. I still get the hangup if I use HTML code within AVIA or when I design complex pages, but I will try to work through it in hopes that a future update will address the problems I have. Thanks for working with me on this.
October 6, 2015 at 10:40 am #514272Hi!
We’re very sorry if you’re experiencing this issue. I tried to add some html codes in the page but I don’t experience any “hangs” or “lags”, the special headings are still inside the page as well. What are the html codes that you are trying to use? Make sure that you close the tags properly.
http://firstmarksolutions.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1205&action=edit
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 6, 2015 at 2:52 pm #514386Yes, thanks. We’ve made some progress over the last month. The page is unstuck somehow.
But I will just have to accept that in Enfold, I will never be able to add a header <H2>SAMPLE</H2> in a text box or it will hang up the editor. Instead I will have to have separate header boxes. Sad that we can’t get this fixed.
I just created a test page that includes simply a text box with <h5>This is a test of the Avia Layout Editor</h5> and it got hung up.
So if there is nothing more that can be done, let’s just close this thread out. I’m disappointed and wish that we had been able to fully resolve the problem but I’m grateful that we developed a work-around.October 6, 2015 at 3:35 pm #514432Hi!
can you provide us admin access, so we can check the link you have send us?
Cheers!
AndyOctober 6, 2015 at 3:44 pm #514452You already have admin access. Please see the other thread below. I gave it several times so use the LAST userID and password.
October 6, 2015 at 4:17 pm #514511Hey!
thanks for the link. In every single thread we need new login credentials, so I will post it here again as private reply, for other moderators.
Are we allowed to deactivate all your plugin temporarily? It seems that there are some corrupted theme files, so please delete all theme files via FTP and get a fresh copy from your themeforest (I hope you did not try this already).
EDIT: By the way the link with php info file does not work for me. Could you check please?
Best regards,

October 6, 2015 at 4:37 pm #514557Thank you for working on this.
First, yes, you can disable any plugins you want. We disabled them all before and it didn’t help.
Second, I have uploaded a fresh version of the Enfold theme using FTP. Didn’t change anything.
Third, I’ve updated the phpinfo file link so now it works again.
Thanks!October 6, 2015 at 4:56 pm #514583Hi!
did you delete ALL theme files before installing a fresh copy of the theme? to make sure no corrupt files are staying.
Regards,
AndyOctober 6, 2015 at 5:02 pm #514590Yes, I deleted all files in the directory before uploading the fresh file.
October 6, 2015 at 5:37 pm #514631Hey!
I created a new test page and ALB editor is working fine for me there. Could you confirm please?
Cheers!
AndyOctober 6, 2015 at 5:49 pm #514645It worked, but when I went into the text block and added the text below and it hung up again.
October 6, 2015 at 6:16 pm #514660Hey!
I see the issue on your end but can’t reproduce it on my end. It’s working totally fine on my own installation and for thousands of others it does seem to work fine as well. Something must cause it especially on your end and it could be thousands of things, not sure what to be honest. I will ask my teammates, maybe anyone has an idea about it.
Regards,
AndyOctober 6, 2015 at 7:16 pm #514702Thanks, Andy. The thing is this. I created the site on a local virtual server using Instant WordPress and migrated it to the production server using the Duplicator plugin. It works fine on the local installation. But after migration, it starts acting up. My hosting service had me change all of my settings, but it still happened. No matter what I do it still happens.
HOWEVER, you should be getting the same problem when you create a text box with the header I described <h4> above. If you are NOT, that means the issue is not with the server, but rather my computer or web browser locally. But I get the problem wherever I log in and your other staff have duplicated the problem, so I am confused about you saying you don’t get it on your end.
October 7, 2015 at 12:10 am #514853Andy, You didn’t recreate the test page with the elements I said to use, which is why you can’t recreate the problem. If you use the <h4> and text I listed above, it will hang up, but when I looked at your KRIESI Test 2 you didn’t use that. That’s probably why the problem isn’t showing up.
October 7, 2015 at 8:29 am #514981Hi!
I’m sorry but I can’t reproduce the issue either. I added a text block here with heading tags and it loads fine:
http://firstmarksolutions.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1205&action=edit
You can find the text block at the very top of the page. I also used the same heading tags in a code block.

IsmaelOctober 7, 2015 at 8:35 am #514986Hi.
Once again, I’ve said this so many times, I think no one is listening.
Please take the exact text in the box below and enter it in a text block. You cannot use simple words like “test” or “hello” because it won’t reproduce the problem. Put the exact text from the private content box below in a text box in advanced editor and put it between <h4> tags.October 7, 2015 at 8:57 am #515003Hey!
Oh. Right. I was able to reproduce the issue. It’s weird. If you add a non breaking space (http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_entities.asp) html entity code after the number 3130, it works fine. If you remove the 3130, it works OK. It mistakenly read the number to something else. Try this:
<h4>The Difference Between FINRA Rules 3120 and 3130 &n bsp;</h4>
Remove the space between the letter “n” and “b” in the html entity code. http://firstmarksolutions.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=1205&action=edit
EDIT: I can’t reproduce the issue on my own installation.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 7, 2015 at 9:06 am #515011So that’s the problem, then? Wow. It took us a month and many many hours to get to that point.
So let me ask you this – is that a problem with the way the theme is reading the code? Do you know why would it only be a problem on the server installation and not on a local installation? In the future, if I just delete that space, it will work fine?
October 7, 2015 at 9:27 am #515042Hey!
Actually, we’re not exactly sure what’s the problem. It seems to be an issue specific to your installation so probably from a plugin or a custom modification. As a temporary fix, you can follow the “html entity” workaround. If possible, refrain from adding the h4 tag until you finish building the content of the page then make sure to add the non breaking space entity code right after the number. I don’t think this issue will happen on every page unless all titles end with numbers like the example above.
Cheers!
IsmaelOctober 13, 2015 at 2:32 pm #518102I don’t think it is a plugin because I’ve disabled every plugin and it still occurs. Also, I’ve tried before installing any plugins on a clean installation and still get the problem. I can use the workaround, but do you think there will ever be a solution to this problem?
October 14, 2015 at 12:56 pm #518617Hey!
it will be almost impossible for us to find a solution if we can’t reproduce the problem. As already written we can see it on your end only. No customer before you have ever mentioned anything like this. We would need to wait to get some more data about this problem. I hope it will be solved for you soon.

Andy -
