I’ve just updated theme to 4.9 and my footer got spoiled.
Unfortunately it is very common for updates to create problems. I don’t know if it’s wordpress or theme or something else’s fault, but it’s unacceptable to never know what can happen every time there is an update.
Now I had to activate Maintenance Mode for obvious reasons.
In Private Content you can find credentials.
Hey Gian Maria,
Are you overriding footer.php or header.php in a child theme? If so, then try to update those files with the content of the corresponding files from the parent theme.

If you want to check that updates are applying correctly on your site, then try doing them on a staging site first.

I did what you suggest (replace child/footer.php with parent/footer.php) and now footer has disappeared.
Can you please try to login again?
My footer is still missing.
May I have support?
