Hi,
after updating to Enfold 4.6.3.1 my mobile burger menu is not working anymore.
I have tried following steps:
– Empty cache
– delete all personal CSS
– deactivate / activate Java / CSS combination on Enfold performance tabHas anyone similar problems?
November 6, 2019 at 4:27 am #1154158Hey iconbit,
Thanks for the login details. What happens if you clear the cache from your caching plugin and leave it deactivated? You could also try to deactivate everything under Enfold->Performance and select to delete the old CSS and JS files on the same page.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 6, 2019 at 10:42 am #1154213Hi Rikard,
i folowed both of your suggestions but problem with burger menu is still there.
I have no caching anymore and deleted old files and also browser caches etc.November 7, 2019 at 5:18 am #1154516Hi,
Thanks for the update. I see an error message on the page but I’m not sure what is causing it. What happens if you deactivate all plugins to check if there is a conflict coming from any of them?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 7, 2019 at 11:26 pm #1154767If i deactivate all plugins, the error still there.
After reacitvating plugin, nothing has changed but i have realized that only the mobile menu for german language is broken (WPML). The mobile menus in all other languages still works fine.
The links for burger menu is not correct, only saying http://www.mydomain.com/#
November 11, 2019 at 4:21 pm #1155650Hi iconbit,
Please sync translations and check the menu, there is some link missing.

VictoriaNovember 14, 2019 at 2:11 pm #1156791Hi Victoria,
i have deactivated WPML, empty all caches etc. but the burger menu is still not loading.
I am afraid that some “avia-footer-script” causes the error.See screenshot:

You need to disable JavaScript merging to see where the error is coming from.

VictoriaNovember 15, 2019 at 1:00 am #1157025Hi Viktoria,
i have found the reason for this error.
Enfold Settings –> Main Menu –> Burger / Mobile Menu
Kopieren Sie Titelmenüelemente in das Untermenü –> I have chosen “Erstellen Sie keinen Klon”
and the error is fixed?!?November 15, 2019 at 1:04 pm #1157178Hi,
Thanks for the update, so everything is working as it should now then?
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 19, 2021 at 2:36 am #1273539Hey Rikard,
I have a problem with my mobile hamburger menu too, it’s not showing the links in it, it’s empty, it’s only showing the exit X and the search icon :-(
I found it out, cause somebody mentioned it luckily…I already tried this:
– Caching (I don’t have a plugin, I have Kinsta as a provider which caches for the clients, Rikard knows)
– Disabling all plugins
– Taking away all quick CSS
– Trying the mobile site on an incognito browser
– Looked at the ‘Enfold Child: Stylesheet (style.css)’ but that’s pretty basic and ’empty’ besides standard things
– I disabled the CSS file merging and compression and Javascript file merging and compression options on my site under Enfold->PerformanceCan you help me with this?

January 20, 2021 at 3:52 am #1273871I’ve found the post about the JQuery plugin, and that solved the problem!
How will we know when the problem is fixed so we can de-activate that plugin again?January 20, 2021 at 5:16 am #1273894Hi,
Sorry for the problem. Please refer to this for a permanent fix: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/problems-after-updating-to-wordpress-5-6-read-this-first/. It will be included in the next version of the theme, which should be available within a few days. If you don’t want to implement the fix, then please continue to run the jQuery migrate plugin until you have installed the new version of the theme.

RikardJanuary 21, 2021 at 3:26 am #1274255Thx Rikard, for now I’ll stick to the plugin and will check next week for the update, thx!
January 24, 2021 at 7:12 pm #1275119I have this problem too. The 3 lines do nothing in mobile view. No drop down, unable to click to any other pages. This is quite a serious issue no? Who wants website visitors to only see the home page.
January 25, 2021 at 11:23 am #1275222Hi sioguthrie,
Please try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, then set the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in the plugin options.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 25, 2021 at 4:17 pm #1275292Hi Rikard
Thanks for your advice. So I’ve downloaded the plugin. JQuery seems already set to Legacy 1.12.4-wp. It has flagged a number of issues to some plugins, but nothing in the theme.
It suggests I don’t have to do anything, and I haven’t except install the jquery plugin, but problem still exists.
Is there some setting I have to change in the theme – I’m using enfold child?
I’m not a developer, just trying to get my website functioning properly. Thanks
SiobhanJanuary 25, 2021 at 5:48 pm #1275309Ok that plugin messed up all my videos. So I’ve deactivated it.
How long is it before the theme is updated? Somewhere I saw a few more days…..?January 27, 2021 at 4:04 am #1275653Hi Siobhan,
Please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site. The new version of the theme should be available within a few days, but we can try to fix your site if you give us access in the new thread.

RikardMarch 1, 2021 at 6:36 pm #1284550Like these other people, the Burger Menu on Mobile comes up with a grey field – nothing in it and an “X” to close the menu. No content. I have tried some of things above, there is a bug I think in your latest version update. This did not happen before Enfold Theme was updated. I tried the Migrate Plugin as suggested it made no difference.
I have also selected do not create a clone under Enfold>Main Menu> Burger/Mobile Menu- made no difference either.March 3, 2021 at 5:00 am #1284935Hi SJShire,
Please try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, then set the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in the plugin options. If that doesn’t help, then please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site.
