    I have Enfold for many years now, but i stopped updating it with 4.5 because of all the wp editor drama and the updating procedure mess. I tried to follow exactly the update instructions from the support forum, but it never worked- or up to be restored via backup a couple of times.
    Now there is version 4.7 and i wonder if this all has been fixed so that an update is doable as it use to be- with a click. Is it?

    Updating from the backend should work normally if you have added a valid token to the theme options: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    I’ve been through this.
    Painful repairs after all. Event manager plugin didn’t work anymore. A useless wp writing editor took over. And so on.
    I really would like to renew my enfold license, but not just find out that all of this happens again.
