Is this an issue others are having? I have been trying to find threads with this problem and there seem to be similar issues:
I publish a page, it looks fine – the next day I come back and certain elements are missing. A tabbed section – entirely gone. The blog element pulling one category, missing.
Usually will reappear if I hit “update” on the page – with NO changes.
Clients are complaining their site content keeps disappearing – any reason why this is happening?
This is a big issue right now as they’re trying to do a registration for a bit online meeting -but that section keeps dissapearing!
June 23, 2020 at 11:58 am #1224829Update – I disabled Jetpack’s site accelerator and so fr haven’t seen the problem; has there been any known issues there?
June 23, 2020 at 12:12 pm #1224831Update, the problem is persisting.
Anyone have ideas!?
June 23, 2020 at 12:45 pm #1224841Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
That usually happens when there is a broken HTML on your page, such as improperly closed Strong tags. Proper use of Strong tag would be as following
<strong>Here is my strong text!</strong>
You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#debug-mode and enable debugging mode to see shortcodes below ALB and fix if you have unclosed tags.
If you would like us to look into it, please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately :)

June 25, 2020 at 12:07 pm #1225462Hi there – I ran the Auto Repair Function – and no errors were detected parsing the shortcodes.
Still having to go in multiple times a day and making sure elements aren’t disappearing – specifically a masonry and magazine section on the home page, and a tab section on the registration pages. At least once a day these are disappearing and I’m having to go in and manually re-publish. I don’t make any changes, I just re-publish. This is problematic when the client expects their site to work!June 25, 2020 at 1:57 pm #1225494Hi,
That definitely should not happen. Could we login and check your page? :)

Update a form, the tab element with the forms shortcode disappears.
June 27, 2020 at 4:15 am #1226027Hi,
Thanks for the update. I created a copy of the front page and added some new content, that seems to be working as it should though. I see that you are using some special characters on the page which can cause the problem you are describing, could you try to remove the > and • characters to see if that changes anything?
You could also try to install this plugin, and use the special codes for the special characters instead: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/intro-to-layout-builder/#troubleshoot
Best regards,
RikardJune 29, 2020 at 12:52 pm #1226392Thanks! I haven’t seen the error since I added that plugin to fix the special characters … fingers crossed. I appreciate your help.
