Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
vor geraumer Zeit bezogen wir das Enfold-Template 5.7 und müssen dieses nunmehr auf die aktuelle Version updaten.
Da wir das Template auf unsere Belange hin angepasst haben können wir diese Änderungen nicht mit einem generellen Update überspielen, weil dann vermutlich alle unsere Änderungen nicht mehr vorhanden wären.
Unser Problem:
Wir haben das Template über Envato gekauft. Allerdings haben wir den “Envato personal token” dafür nicht mehr vorliegen und der Zugang ist gleichfalls nicht mehr vorhanden.Wir bitten daher um rasche Information:
Wie können wir nun das Template updaten, ohne dass unsere Änderungen dafür überschrieben werden? Und wie können wir sicherstellen, dass wir in Zukunft immer die aktuellste Template-Version erhalten?

Thank you for the inquiry.
Since the purchase code has been lost, you will need to purchase another license in order to update the theme. With the current version, you will no longer be able to update the theme automatically via the dashboard, so you’ll need to upload the latest version to your server manually via FTP. Please check the documentation below.

Unfortunately, it’s not recommended to make modifications directly in the parent theme, and we can’t help you trace back the modifications you made. We recommend installing a child theme and moving all template modifications there.
