Hello, please check the post I am creating to build a template. Why are my photos distorted this way? Their original sizes are 1500 x 600 since I am also using some of them as page banners.

    Thank you for checking it.
The photos have different sizes, but I thought the slider would crop them to fit in the size I chose for the slider (“portfolio small”).
Another issue: the front end is actually not showing the correct size of slider.

Please let me know how to ensure the quality of the images are the same as their original and how to make the easy slider size work?

    thanks,

    Priscilla

    Hi,

Thanks for that. The portfolio small option is way to small for the container you have put the slider in, please try another option which is 700+ pixels wide.

The image in your sidebar is not bigger than it’s displayed, it looks the same in the WordPress media section.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Thank you Rikard.
Just to make sure I understood: the slider will stretch into whatever size container I put it in, right?
BUT what if I want it to be the smaller size (portfolio size)?

    Thank you,

    Priscilla

    Hi Priscilla,

Yes it should fit into the containing element. So if you select an image resolution which is too small, the images will look pixelated.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
