Hello,
We have experience some issues with Easy slider/full width easy slider on a few websites. A huge white space appears below the image on first page load. After the first rotation it disappear. We have at least a couple of Enfold websites that have the same issue. One of the websites is OOTB and does not have any custom styling that may interfere with the sliders.
Please advise. We can send a screenshot for reference.
Thank you in advance.
Hey designelefant,
Could you post a link to where we can see the problem in question please? Also please include admin WordPress login details in private.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hello Rikard,
Thank you for getting back to us.
We have provided information to access the website.
We did some research as well. One of the plugins Smush has a lazy load option that when is ON the Easy/Full width slider issue appears. When we turn the lazy load OFF in the Smush plugin, everything seems to work normal. Currently the lazy loading in Smush is ON, so you can experience the issue.
Please review.
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
Thanks for that. First off, could you try updating the theme to the latest version (4.9) to see if that helps please? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update.
Best regards,
Rikard
Hello Rikard,
We have the Enfold 4.9 in place, but the issue still exists. Please advise.
Best Regards.
Hi,
Thank you for your patience, and glad to see that you already found that the issue is with the Smush lazy load option, this issue is known to Smush and they have told Smush Pro users that they are working on it. For now please disable this feature until Smush is able to correct it. We can’t not modify a plugin error at the theme level, it must be done within the plugin files.
Best regards,
Mike
Hello Mike,
Thank you for the response. We will disable the lazy load on Smush for now.
