Hello,
For Some reason the drag-and-drop portion of editing a page is gone and it is display only short codes to edit. It says my theme is up-to-date. How can I get this drag-and-drop feature back to add content blocks to my page? Thanks,
AmyMarch 18, 2020 at 7:05 am #1194042Hi a1mueller,
Thanks for giving us admin access.
Please update your PHP version from 5.6 to 7+, also update Enfold to the latest version 4.7.3.
Make sure to have a backup first before doing the update.Best regards,
NikkoMarch 19, 2020 at 11:13 pm #1194627I updated via bluehost to 7.0 with php. Within wordpress I am seeing this message still for Enfold:
Theme Updates
No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2.6)March 19, 2020 at 11:31 pm #1194628I read up on threads about updating via ftp, but wouldn’t the instructions require me to repurchase the newest version of the theme? How do I utilize what I have already purchased and still get the .zip file to upload that is a newer version?

Please do the following after making a backup:
- Unzip the zip file you have downloaded from Themeforest
- Open the unpacked folder produced by unzipping the file and you should find enfold.zip file
- Go to your site, and in the Dashboard, go to Appearance > Themes and click the Add New button
- Click the Upload Theme button then click Choose File and upload the enfold.zip file
- Install and Activate the theme
Best regards,

Sorry for the problem. The update to 4.7.x has to be done manually from the version you are running, please refer to my replies in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/enfold-4-5-theme-update-update-failed-download-failed-a-valid-url-was-not-pro/#post-1021541
You can either update manually via FTP: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-install-enfold-theme/#theme-update, or use a plugin to upload the theme zip file: https://wordpress.org/plugins/update-theme-and-plugins-from-zip-file/
If that doesn’t work then please try to delete the whole theme folder, then replace it with the new version. Make sure that you have backups of the site before starting updating.
After you have updated then try to activate the Classic Editor in the main page of the theme options.
Also please read this after you have updated: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard -
