Hi Team,
Yesterday I have purchased Enfold multipurpose theme and when I try to upload demo gym theme it said “Download of files for demo GYM Demo didn’t work!
You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.” I have update the size of uploading to 256 MB on ht-access and .ini but still I failed to upload demo.
I requested you to please help me in this asap because I have to submit this site to my client till tomorrow.Post script : My email address – (Email address hidden if logged out)

InsyrgeDecember 13, 2021 at 10:35 pm #1332665Hi Team,
I have fixed this issue by own. Actually I have achieved this task by your provided documentation for Manual upload of Demo import.
Here is the link – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/
Process:
1. Add this code in Function.php of enfold theme add_theme_support( ‘avia_demo_store_downloaded_files’ );
2. Download the zip file of the demo you would like to import from https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/tree/master/demos
3. Extract it in wp-content \uploads\avia_demo_files\ folder. If you are importing Enfold 2017 demo, files should be extracted inside \enfold-2017\ so it should look as \uploads\avia_demo_files\enfold-2017\
4. Go to Enfold theme options > Demo Import and import the demo.Very easy step but 1 thing I don’t like is if I purchased this theme still I have to dp this manual process I hope support will fix this issue for their future customers.

December 14, 2021 at 5:56 am #1332708Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Glad to know that you managed to manually import the demos. But there should be a button in the Demo Import panel that will download the demo files first before importing it. This could fail if the server blocks the source of the demo files. You may need to ask your hosting provider to whitelist the URL of the demo source.
Best regards,

December 15, 2021 at 3:40 pm #1332975Scusate, ho deciso di resettare e importare un nuovo tema. Scusate ma con Enfold ultimamente ho troppi problemi.
December 15, 2021 at 3:52 pm #1332980Hey @cristinapizzato,
Could you please contact your hosting provider and make sure PHP ZipArchive Extension is enabled on your server?
If it is enabled and it does not help, please post FTP and WP admin logins here privately and point out which demo you would like to import so we can manually import the demo for you – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/import-demos/#how-to-manually-import-a-theme-demo

YigitAugust 1, 2024 at 9:07 am #1463495Hi, I am a website designer and a big fan of that theme, but I stopped using it in 2020 because demo importing is such a hassle. Every time I try, it shows different errors, the most common one being, “Download of files for demo Shop Demo didn’t work! You might want to try reloading the page and then try again.” I’ve searched for solutions on YouTube and many other platforms but haven’t found any. The theme creators don’t even have a YouTube channel to explain these issues. It feels like they created the theme and then went on vacation for life, leaving users like me in trouble. There’s no helpline, no contact form, and no live chat option. I’m feeling exhausted. Can someone please help me?

Sorry for the problem. Please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private, so that we can have a closer look at your site.
