dev / staging / live

Hi
I have several (5) Enfold themes for different clients and should update all of them.

We work normally with 3 different installations, two with subdomains for developement,
dev.domain.ch (= our developement installation)
staging.domain.ch (= for the client / testing and creating the content)
and if everything is ok we transfer the datas to the installation for the live version (domain.ch).
All three installations are complete (WordPress installed, own database etc.)
Because we made several changes to fit Enfold for our clients websites, the …
Question:
Can I install the new version first under the subdomain staging.domain.ch and make all tests before going live or is there a problem with the licence? Thanks for your reply
