Hello,
I am having this issue with post and pages. Since the last update of wordpress and endolf I had more than an issue. And this is one of them.
This post https://www.liveinlondon.uk/what-to-do-if-you-lose-something-important is built with default editor, as you can see, no content is displayed in the post as it switched by itself to advanced editor. Is it not the first time it happens and the only fix is that I restore the previous edit of the post.
Could you please see what is causing this?
Thanks,

The login details you sent are to a different site than the one you linked to? Also, how exactly can we reproduce the problem? I’ve never heard of this happening before.
Best regards,
RikardApril 29, 2020 at 12:28 pm #1208129Hi Rikard,
thanks for coming back to me.The access is correct, please see the flag in the top of the page, this will allow you to access to the right section of posts.
The problem is actually being reproduced right now as we talk. This post was created with default editor as for all my posts. It has now switched to Advanced editor by itself and as you can notice on the front end, no content is shown. Why no content is shown? because the content was created with default editor and now the advanced editor is currently selected. But it did it by itself. In fact last week I asked help on the same page (for something else) and you told me “Marco the page has not content” see the ticket page, you may recall it.
So the issue is that the editors are switching by themselves and this create issues as I do not get any notification when this happens “hiding” the content of the posts.
Hope I was able to explain it a bit better :-)
Thanks,

Thanks for the clarification. So the problem is that the editor changes to the default one once you save? If so then please try to disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them, I can’t reproduce the problem on a local installation.
Best regards,

Unfortunately it is very random. It happened on a few posts, not on all of them. I will restore the previous edit and I will pay particular attention to that.Did you access the site and change the editor? I can see it now it switched to default editor). Did you restore it yourself?
Thanks for your help.

May 2, 2020 at 6:15 am #1209052Hi Marco,
Thanks for the update. I only saved it, I didn’t change anything. That is the only way of reproducing the problem, right?
Best regards,
RikardMay 2, 2020 at 11:44 am #1209085Oh I see,
maybe saving helped. However I had already saved it and it reverted to advanced editor.Anyway, I will give it a look and see if this happens again. It happened with a few pages not only this one.
Speak soon,
thanks.
Marco
