I would like to customize my page for error 404, how can I do ?

    thank for your help

    Hey sandra1307,

You will need a child theme http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/using-a-child-theme/ then copy 404.php from the Enfold theme and paste it in child theme, tweak the php file and that should be it :)

    Best regards,

Sorry, but it’s too dificult for me…
Isn’t a way, with extension for example to create a new page 404 ?

    thank you

You might be able to find a plugin which does that for you, but we can’t guarantee that it will be compatible with the theme. I would recommend that you try out the suggestion posted by Nikko.

    Best regards,

    Thanks for your advices

    have a good day

    Hello sandra1307,

try to install that wp plugin (404page – your smart custom 404 error page). First you can created a page with a title and content, When you install and activated that plugin go to WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> 404 Error Page. Select from (Page to be displayed as 404 page) the page was created before and click Save Changes. If the 404 Error page doesn’t display, change the (Operating Method) from Standard Mode to Compatibility Mode.

I try it, it’s easy and work perfectly.

Thank you and i hope i help you.
