I am trying to create a page template through the child theme. I’ve duplicated page.php into the Child folder, and have edited from there. If I don’t use the Avia Layout Builder on the WordPress page, my template works fine. But once I turn on the Avia Layout Builder, it overrides all of my code on the child theme.

How do I set up a custom page template to work with the Avia Layout Builder?

    Hey kristenangel!

The layout builder uses the template-builder.php file when you have any element with a 100% width (any full width element). As far as I know you can’t designate a secondary template to be used so you would need to replace that file as well.

    Regards,
    Devin
