    Hello,
Please could someone offer me some advice about creating a child theme after I have already made modifications to the Enfold theme.
I want to update Enfold to version 6 and have realised I didn’t create a child theme when I installed it, and I don’t want to lose any of the customisations I have made so far. If it is only a case of saving the custom CSS I have added, then that won’t be an issue, I wasn’t 100% sure what I would lose by updating.
Or is it just a case of creating a child theme as per these instructions, even though I have made modifications? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#why-child-theme
Login info in private info if handy.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hey rosiet5,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Did you modify any template files in the parent theme? If not, you can import the parent theme options after activating the child theme. You can also manually export the theme options, activate the child theme, and then import the theme options back. Make sure to create a backup or restore point before proceeding, just in case. For more info, please check the documentation below:

    Best regards,
    Ismael
